It just does not feel right IMO. It's like Morrigan and Alistair being a romance option for female/male warden. Just does't feel right.
It wouldn't feel right to you because they didn't do it. You played a game where Miranda was strictly heterosexual, so of course the idea of a s/s Miranda romance feels wrong and out of place to you.
Who knows what your image of her character would have been if they had changed that? I didn't know Leliana was gay until halfway through the game, I felt like a total idiot - I'd had her pegged as very feminine and heterosexual.

Lol, seriously tho, I don't think he was saying it was casual sex just because she was on top, just that her being on top "didn't feel right" to him - for some reason. That I don't understand. I mean, seriously?
Also for the record, I don't think she was just on top in the beginning to get her clothes off. I think she stayed on top. The whole time. Just got that impression.
And that's all I have to say about that /Forrest Gump.
But didn't he say he would expect something like that from a casual relationship but it didn't make sense because she said she loved him. So color me baffled. I am just saying that just because they were in that place didn't necessarily mean anything. It is not really a sex scene it is a make out scene.
Nothing wrong with that of course.

Most people thought Morrigan was going to be the f/f option, not Leliana? I could have sworn it was the opposite. Maybe this was before 2009 when Bioware starting releasing videos?
Hey Kraidy.
By the time the character videos came out it was already well known who the LIs were and which ones swung both ways.

I don't like that idea at all. Keep their sexualities the same, no retconning. Orientation isn't a lightswitch.MrNose wrote...
Hmm... I'm curious as to why these weren't in the game then. Maybe recorded in case of a Romance DLC pack?
It would actually be kind of cool to have the DLC pack open up F/F and M/M romances. You would basically be using DLC to redefine a character's canon sexuality.

Let me just reiterate that all romance interests in ME2 aside from Jacob (and who knows, someone might find gay lines for him as well in the disc) had homosexual lines recorded. But that doesn't mean anything other than them being recorded.
Ok good that is what I thought. I just remember hearing about Ashley and now Miranda and Tali but never Kaidan, Garrus and co.

It's a little weird that they would record it, one would assume that a character's LI status is the sort of thing that would be decided early in the development cycle.
But they do have all this dialogue for Tali on Horizon, dialogue for Legion before he's obtainable in-game by normal means. I suppose if you have your voice actors in the studio, it makes sense to record a lot of lines for your different options, instead of having to call them back again for a couple of different lines.

I don't know, but I heard them with my own ears. FemShep talking about Miranda with Mordin, FemShep doing the renegade sex with Jack, Male Shepard talkin about Garrus sex, etc.Vyndael wrote...

Well the cut homosexual lines were a topic way back in the ME1 days.

That is exactly what I think it is. They record lines just in case they are going to use them. On the disc there's unused recorded lines that have nothing to do with DLC or romance either, but they're still there.ComTrav wrote...

It makes you wonder why they bothered to put them on the disk. I guess in case they wanted to use them for a late DLC.

@Collider: Ah, I never heard about it so I figure it must be pretty recent. Strange if it is because people probably would have found it a couple months ago through the audio extractor. Unless of course, it didn't manage to get all of the files.

It'slike Kaidan, Ash and Alistair. All three of them had dialog for the same sex romance.
