That is exactly what I think it is. They record lines just in case they are going to use them. On the disc there's unused recorded lines that have nothing to do with DLC or romance either, but they're still there.

It makes you wonder why they bothered to put them on the disk.  I guess in case they wanted to use them for a late DLC.

I don't think for a second they are going to release them as DLC. I think they recorded them just in case they wanted to use them, like ComTrav said it's inconvenient to get a lot of lines recorded in one session rather than calling the voice actor back over and over again. So they probably recorded these lines just in case they wanted to use them in development.

This is interesting to think about, as one wonders how much of the game's total development costs voice acting is. It also suggests that having an additional or expanded LI scene would not be that hard (and probably make almost everyone who visits these forums extremely happy, if my poll is any indication.)



(I sometimes wonder how much Martin Sheen was paid. I assume it was quite a bit less then a comparable role in a movie.)

It's safe to say they paid Martin Sheen alot more then the other VAs because of his name. Also Coldier, that was intresting. It's a little vague but it is the same lines Male Shepard said. Now I want a femnale and Miri romance

1.) The wink and coy remarks in the elevator.
2.) "Should've known you wouldn't settle for the captain's quarters" - don't know why but this line  was a bit of a mood killer, made it seem like it was just about sex.
3.) LACK OF DIALOGUE IN THE SCENE.

But the dialog leading but to the scene was worth it, it was just the sex scene was meh. Lets hope Bioware givesz us closure for Miri in ME3 and it better be good.
