Not this discussion again. We had that on page 60 to 80 of this thread. With one exception, there was a consensus that Miranda is sexually experienced but does have standards and doesn't sleep with anyone casually.t3HPrO wrote...

Summer Glau's outfit from the 16th pic looks awesome on her and would look incredible on Miri.
That's....er.....extremely compelling. I wonder if Bioware are taking recommendations for her Alternate Appearance DLC...

Hehe....the look on that salarian's face is priceless.Andaius20 wrote...
Look what mission I'm on, I'll see if I can't snap some good one of Miranda.
Even so....I like close-fitting, but Miranda's outfit is ridiculously close-fitting. In places it looks like they just textured the skin. I very much doubt you'd find that if you scanned Summer Glau in that outfit.Sleepy Buddha wrote...

Asari commandos never wear armor (unless you count leather as such) and Miranda strikes me as someone who follows that kind of combat philosophy.
Mobility and agility are paramount and armor would get in the way. And she still has barriers to protect her if she's hit.
She's not a heavy tank type. She's a sort of light scout type. Even her weapons selection shows that.
There is that. But somehow that thing with Jacob must have started....jtav wrote...
Well, she does have a weakness for bad pick up lines and uses them herself.
I also find it very hard to stay away from Miranda. I usually play Paragade, but I have something for a subset of Cerberus' goals that I tend to infuse my Shepards with, regardless of how their decisions go in the end. That it's not easy to play ME2 without any romance adds to the problem. So far I haven't got a Shepard who has stayed true to Ashley, while I do have a femShep who stayed true to Kaidan. That's not hard, given the selection of romances for femSheps.DarkSeraphym wrote...
Wow, I haven't stopped by here in some time. Perhaps this is rather sad or a sign that I enjoyed the particular way a character was written, however I recently started playing another round of Mass Effect 2 to attempt to stay loyal to Ashley. Prior to this, I've beaten Mass Effect 2 7 times and each time have romanced Miranda. It is a real challenge to keep playing through this one.
I liked Ashley a lot in the first game, but as others have mentioned here I also get a vibe of Fire and Ice from both of these particular characters. They seem to be polar ends of one another and I am finding it quite difficult to like both of them at the same time. Personally, I find myself playing Renegade most of the time anyways and allying myself with the cause of Cerberus, so I think that helps add to the problem because I am not sure I can see a good outcome coming out of Commander Shepard and Ashley given William's attitude toward Cerberus.
Perhaps I am merely getting too sucked into this game, but is anyone else having a similar problem? I feel like, for Renegade Shepard at least, that Miranda Lawson is a much more natural pairing than Ashley. At one time, I thought William's distrust of aliens was a great fit for ReneShep, but now after I've played the game so many times with Miranda; it just seems like Miranda is the better fit.

I was wondering why didn't Miranda just kill her father? I think this is also one of the reason's her father had only daughters without all the extra testosterone pumping threw their veins, less likelihood of death with the stunts he pulled.

But I think the most important aspect is that I like Miranda. As I said repeatedly before, Ashley is a great character, but Miranda seems to be made for characters I play. With the result that she's the first video game character I consider myself a fan of in over 20 years of playing games. I'd have to make a real role-playing effort to stay away from her. It's much easier to ignore my dislike of interspecies romance and have my femShep romance Thane than to stay away from Miranda.
So. Yes. I understand you.

Though, I think most of us can agree a Renegade Shepard will have more affinity towards the goals of Cerberus by the end of the game while a Paragon Shepard will be more inclined towards the goals of the Alliance.
