If I spend six months looking for and digging up my ex-girlfriend's body so I could hand it over to a terrorist group that told me they could resurrect her, all because I couldn't let her go, would you consider me emotionally stable?
They didn't tell her it could be resurrected....TIM just told Liara they wanted the body so it could be brought to rest. They laid the resurrection thing on her after she brought the body back.
You don't think Miranda would do the same for Shepard?
Direct quote:
Shepard: That anger can't be from just from what you've told me. What else happened between you and the
Shadow Broker?
Liara: Did Cerberus ever tell you how they recovered your body?
Liara: I gave it to them. I gave you to them, Shepard. Because they said they could rebuild you.
Liara: And to do that, I had to take it from the Shadow Broker, who was going to sell your corpse to the
Collectors.
Shepard: Why didn't you tell me about this before now?
Liara: Because I screwed it up Shepard. I barely escaped with my own life.
Liara: And when I gave you to
Cerberus, I told myself I was doing it for you, for a chance to bring you back.
Liara: But I knew Cerberus would use you for their own business. And I let it
happen. Because I couldn't let you go. I'm sorry.
Would Miranda do the same for Shepard? I'm going to say no, at least not for the reasons Liara stated she did it. Miranda might do it, but only to prevent the Collectors possibly making use of it. Miranda would treat dead Shepard's body like any other piece of valuable intelligence or technology, not a dead lover she could hopefully bring back because she wasn't able to let go.
