Yeah, I don't try to protect either of them either, but I do jump in in defense when someone tries to make out like one was more at fault than the other, or like one was the victim and one was the mean demonic monster.

I was still hurt badly and since my canon Shepard (Joshua shepard) is my story (everything I do is what i would do at that time, no restating or anything) how I would react is the same. I would cheat on Ash and I would stay with Miri. I just don't know, but I enjoyed my time with Miri. Now I sound like a nerd

The very first time I played that scene I had enough paragon points to use persuasion, and I've been able to every time since too.

I never sided with either. I was never in a situation where I had to.

Same, I have seen the videos on youtube and Yvonne did an outstanding job at that scene and when she says "Not in the slitest" gives me the chills.

Why?  They did the same to you in ME2.

Diffrent case, ME2 is the middle of the trilogy, ME3 is the end. Doing that brings no closure to Miri's romance where Ash's romance does.

If they do, they will not get my money. Thats Bioware telling me that my feelings for these characters where nothing.  I have already been vocal about this.

I feel for the new one more. It would cause me pain to leave them.

Even if come ME3 my LI had changed somehow and I became endeared to them, too much has passed between my Shepard and my ME2 LI.

I just felt a great sense of distance between myself and Liara/Ash/Kaidan. I felt like we had gotten swept apart across oceans and we now existed in separate worlds.

I hear you!  For me it's...no Liara no money, but we are of the same mind.

As I have said many times, if none of the ME2 squad is in ME3 as the sqaud, sales will hurt bad, plus Biowares rep. ME2 makes sence for holding back Ash, Kaidan and Liara since it's the middle of the trilogy. If there was a ME4, then I would not mind miri getting a cameo, it would hurt, but ME3 is the final so Miri getting a cameo treatment would suck. I want closure.

Compared to ME and ME2 sales, it will be low. ME2 did a killing both critical and money wise. Bioware has alot to do for ME3.
