Find Jung much more interesting if we're talking about psychoanalysis.

Thanks for the help with the gloves. I admit I'm a bit relieved, as it makes writing certain things easier.

What? How...? No, I won't ask.

Freud wouldn't be able to get away with his ideas had he first presented them in the current century. He'd get pulverized by feminist groups with his inane idea that women wish they were born men.

Not to mention how current society might react to the suggestion that incest is somehow an inherent natural phenomenon and a desire on the child's part.

It's actually innocent. Any sustained human/drell skin contact causes a mild rash. Includding PG rated holding hands/carressing. Lot easier to write that if she normally wears gloves anyway.

jtav, why do you think it's easier for you to write Miranda/Thane than it is to write Miranda/Shepard?

Because I'm more used to fleshing out characters who have a definite personality/history. Writing Shepard is more akin to creating an original character, which is harder for me.

Yeah, I suppose that is a bit more work than just using what's already there...

Personally I'm the opposite. I don't quite like using other people's characters. I am always in a rush to create my own and build upon them.

Using other people's characters often feels restrictive. It can be great fun, but I'm very particular about how they are portrayed which makes progress potentially very slow and calculated.

I'm still working on the other party member, night. She is going to have a pretty unique (as well as tragic) past...there will definitely be some barriers that the player has to unravel for the friendship or romance path.

Yeah, I also find there's a kind of stigma I have associated with using someone else's work. Hmm. Have to think about that.

Hope you get that new character to me soon. Hey, did you ever decide if the PC would be a Patriot?

Night, it also helps that I simply like Thane more than Shep. I go through periods when I want to toss Shep off a cliff.

Well I guess that would depend upon how well you write your Shepard. Based off of what the writers do with Shepard, yeah, he can get a bit dull, but real skill can transform anything.

Well if I was a woman in the 19th century I would wish I had been born a man also.

How about this instead of a romance pack we have a game based on Miranda,Tali and Ash? But, instead of a shooter/rpg it's a puzzle/ Japanese style dating simulation/ Romantic Comedy it can be called Mass Effect 2 1/2 or Shepard's Angels. Here's the pitch the reaper's are coming Shepard (voiced and faced by Charlie Sheen) has to stop them but after a year Shepard decided to start a live action date movie consenting of the crew. Strangely enough Shepard's the only male cast member in Shepard presents M/ass Effect 2 1/2. How does this sound?

True. But I am not skilled. Besides, it was Miranda that devoured my brain and made me pack up and come over to ME fandom. There are other characters and elements of the setting that interest ME, but she's the focal point. It's her head I want to get into, not Shep's.

Would you keep Miri if she was voiced by JEJ? Liz Stoka's VA is part of the charm for Tali.

I think Miranda needs some kind of rival to keep her character fresh for Mass Effect 3. Someone new who could challenge as a li or in genetic modifications. If so what should said person be like?

I don't know how possible it would be for the game, but I'd love to see her face off against a "sister" who had escaped before her and really was everything Miranda haters accuse her of being (except for incompetent)
