I think they should make her mentally disturbed and they could introduce they're father. He could promise her wealth in exchange for find Oriana,but the only to do that is threw Miranda. Miranda is forced to choose how far she will go to save Oriana, and can she save her other sister. These event will change her forever can she redeem her self or will she become "The Kinslayer".

I don't think Shep is suited for that kind of long-term strategic thinking. He's good and inspiration, but is as subtle as a nuclear warhead.

Thats why I said Miri and Shepard should lead Cerberus. Shepard can do alot of physical work where Miri does the brain work. TIm's whole system is so falwed because while he is smart and charming, he lacks realy any muscle to make sure his projects don't backfire on him. If I had a choice to take over Cerberus I would redo the whole system my self. I do love the idea of Miri being TIW tho.

True. But I am not skilled. Besides, it was Miranda that devoured my brain and made me pack up and come over to ME fandom. There are other characters and elements of the setting that interest ME, but she's the focal point. It's her head I want to get into, not Shep's.

How do you know what depths of skill you possess if you do not plumb them? You do have skill, we could tell you that.

Anybody can take someone else's character and write something. It's easy. I would write Shepard simply because it's a challenge. Lots of people use the other characters for fanfic, but how often do they make Shepard truly interesting? Not very often. Because there's actual writing involved there. Shepard is blank.

I tried fanfic once purely for that reason, to see if I could make Shepard interesting - and I did this by deciding to write the entire thing from Miranda's perspective, starting from Lazarus on, and never go into Shepard's head once. Not once. Your whole perception of Shepard is defined through Miranda. You don't know what he's thinking, what he's feeling, nothing. It was fun.

Im saying Miranda would notice an all to familar darker side a contrast of how he treats her and how he treats others. It could be a great coming of age story Miranda struggle to find out if the man she love is truely who she thinks... this could be a great lifetime movie.

I wholly subscribe to this. I've decided to have my femShep get involved with Thane after all. If he were human, this would be the perfect romance. His outlook is very different from all of my Shepards', but at least he thinks about himself and his place in the universe.

Something, I might add, I also ascribe to my Shepards. They vary in sensitivity and empathy, but I don't believe in larger-than-life heroes who affect the fate of a galaxy and don't think about what they're doing and why. That's at the heart of the short fanfic I wrote some time ago ("A Promise of Love and Death").
