1: do you think Miri read al of Shep's past history and if so what do you think she thought o him

Of course she read about him. I guess she knows more about Shepard than anyone else right from the start. What she thought, though, that's anyone's guess. It depends on too many factors - Shepard's origin story, her own attitudes and opinions that lead her later to decisions in ME2.

2: Do you think that Miri had romantic ideas with- about Shep from the start, e.g. when the were bringing him back to life?

No, I don't think so. Her rejection at the start of the game is quite clear, and unlike some, I am very convinced that this is not just a mask hiding some deeper emotion. From the conversations, we know she comes to respect Shepard only later, and respect, for her, is a precondition for love.

This, I beleive she began to dev feelings for Shepard after Horrozin(sp) At the begining of the game, she resepcts his abilties, but not the person. This is made clear when you first talk to her. However, she does know ALOT about Shepard, and has seen alot of him then she would admit. Now I don't beleive she had feelings for him, but this would explain why she devs feelings for him faster then say Ash or Tali.

Yes i also thought this is why she Devs feeling for him faster than other LI's i mean she is the only one that says she loves shep, well kinda which i think is kinda cool because it adds an extra layer onto the relationship that the others dont givePosted Image

Bah, everyone's voting for their favorites again. I can understand the votes for Jack (some honest votes here - I don't like her much, but she does have a very expressive face), but Tali? We cannot see her face, how can it be expressive? And Samara's face is worlds more expressive than Liara's. As is Ashley's. And Miranda's.

As for Miranda...I could start a screenshot series with her expressions. How about this one to begin with:

No one should vote for Ashley. Ashley's face looks like it got hit by the Destiny Ascension.

I love that expresion. If anything, it should be a tie or close race with Jack and miri. Both show so much emotion in there face it's not even funny.

As I said, Jack and miri have amazing expresions. If you vote for Jack then I aggree. However Tali should not even be on there. Miri and Jack should be tied or very close. Not to mention both cry during the game.

*Shepard slowly starts opening Tali's mask*
Tali: Shepard, you don't want to do this
*Shepard completely opens Tali's mask*
Tali: I am the vanguard of your destruction!
Shepard: Oh Crap!

I like Tali by the way, but I just couldn't resist.

Sorry kraidy, I never captured the wink right - that's a tenth of a second where you must hit the screenshot key. And the one where she has tears - hmmm *looks through screenshot archive* it seems I haven't got that one as well. I'll trxy to rectify that next time I get there.

BTW, does anyone have the sneer? That's a great expression, too.

Edit:
I'm following the vote - Tali's in the lead :o ***where's the Miranda facepalm shot when we need one***

I don't find Miranda that expressive overall. She has her moments, but her character is that of someone who's able to maintain control of herself at all times. She's not supposed to lose her temper, get frustrated, break out in tears randomly, or swoon over Shepard the first time he winks at her. Jack has a lot more range and variety in her emotions because she's much less controlled than Miranda. Their confrontation in Miranda's cabin is a good example. Jack's flipping out and throwing chairs while Miranda just stands their with her arms crossed and makes a few snide remarks.

Well I do have the crying one in my album, but it's not good quility (I have the 360 version, which means I need to use a camara)

Anyways Miri and Jack have amazing expresions. Still love that litte sil she gives when you tell her to talk to her sister.

Miranda is more subtle, but as expressive IMO. Just look at the screenshots. There are some you'd never see on Jack, just as, of course, there are some on Jack you'll never see on Miranda. And Ashley's better than you'd expect, too, but you have to pay attention, both because it's more subtle and because ME1 doesn't have the same range of expressions we see in ME2.

@kraidy:
The one with the tears was at the end of her loyalty mission, wasn't it? Only I don't recall seeing her face from that angle then.

I found the expressions much better in ME2, has to do with the updated engine Bioware used.If Miri did this, I would ask Bioware where Miri is and what have you done with her.

(Miri does tear up, but not like that. I could never see Miri ball her eyes out.)

:P I kinda liked how she has less make-up my self. It shows off her natrual beauty.
