Physical resilience and resistance to disease are not necessarily connected. One develops as a counter to an aggressive fauna and/or an unfriendly environment, the other to aggressive microbial life. Immune systems are also not completely determined by your genes and degenerate faster than other traits if not constantly challenged. I would agree with you about the krogan if their homeworld was in its original state, for it seems competition must have been fierce on all levels of life back then. But things changed with the krogan intra-species wars and the genophage.kraidy1117 wrote...

You make a good point about the Krogan, Kraidy. That makes sense that Wrex & Grunt would have a very good immune system.
Plus they have two of every major organ (expect for there testicals, they have four) Plus there hump stores resources for them in a way like a camel does. Krogans can go a long time without food and water. The only thing that is huirting them is the Genophage.
I don't say I necessarily disgree with you. But the picture is not as clear-cut as you make it seem. There is also some evidence that Earth may be near the top of the "diversity of life" scale - why else could humans be more genetically diverse compared to other intelligent species in the galaxy in spite of being exactly not diverse compared to other species on Earth.
Which means, it is possible that Miranda would win.
