One of my FAVE Renegade Shep lines is when talking to Kalara the Asari on citadel after Thane's loyalty mission and the council was killed.
Shep "Look sweetheart. When you need a problem shot, ask a turian. When you need a problem talked to death, ask an asari. When you need a new problem, ask a salarian. When you want a problem fixed, ask a human."

As for Paragon Shep / Miranda romance, I just see it as better to me IMO I guess. Not putting down anyone else's opinion.

Bah she can be Shep's closest ally even with Renegade and even if you save the base. I've never understood the whole 'Renegades are jerks' thing either. Jack isn't a jerk he just gets the job done...

See, to me, that's a jerk thing to say. It was also a pretty big jerk move when Shepard stood outside a shop on the Citadel and yelled about its unfair business practices, or went up to a shop and told the clerk his stuff was crap.

Bumping is frowned upon by the moderators. Best use a nice picture of Miranda, preferably something that hasn't been seen for some time. And perhaps add a comment that can be interpreted as more than a bump.

Seriously, is there any character who can be considered a good romance for a full Renegade Shepard?EffectedByTheMasses wrote...
Hah. I just realized, I have never romanced anyone other than Miranda on any of my maleShep playthroughs.
Also, do you guys think she's a better LI for a paragon or renegade Shep?
(The obvious answer being both but seriously.
Apart from that, Miranda is grey, she's a lighter grey when she resigns but she remains morally ambiguous. Which means, she is best suited for a character who isn't too one-sided. Pure Paragons will be put off by her Cerberus connection and in general, her "dishonest" spy work, and pure Renegades shouldn't bother with a romance at all but get the job done and go home.

Pure paragon is really great too, especially with her resignation at the end.
I think Miranda is not best suited for one specific character, that's another reason I like her.

I can't imagine a pure Paragon - the naive kind - being attracted to her, and neither her being attracted to one. She's neither for babes nor for jerks, but for characters with some flexibility.Yannkee wrote...

The Shepard I use for Miranda's romance is almost entirely Paragon. What astonishes Miranda, I think, is how often it works. The galaxy seems to become more idealistic with him around. Captain Carrot in space, that one.

My first shepard was a pure paragon, and I enjoyed the romance with Miri. I never felt they were not meant to be together.
But my favourite playthrough : paragade, and destroy the base.

Actually, yes. Miranda's romance is, IMO, the wrong romance for more overt romanticism. Play Tali's for that. More covert romantisicm - pardon the pun - would be more appropriate. An overabundance of such overtly romantic moments would be out of character - expressions of deep emotions are rare and special for Miranda, and should stay that way. If anything, subtle nonverbal cues are the way to go. If people don't understand them, then so be it. I'd rather have that than a Miranda I don't recognize anymore.jtav wrote...
I do wish the game gave us more opportunities for a more overt romanticism in Miranda's romance. "So don't die" was great, but I wanted more. Or am I playing the wrong romance?
Oh, I'm not asking for anything overwrought. A post-coital "It's worth it" or, even better a "You're worth it" would have me over the moon, as would Miranda teasingly telling him she plays for keeps. Anything to assuage my nagging doubts that I've invested the relationship with a depth Bioware never intended.

I wonder if Yvonne Strahovski and Seth Green are worried about be Typecasted.
That Yvonne might always be the action girl? Doubt it she seems to be getting a few regular girl roles in her last film and the one coming up.
Not sure about Seth. Having him be a non-snarky character would seem to be a waste of him IMO.

Beautiful Yankee. I have not played with Kasumi yet, do her skills mesh well with Miranda's? That is why I use Garrus alot.

Yvonne I find is perfect for vharacters like Sarah and Miri.
Her strength is emotional projection so she can do great work in alot of things: family dramas, romances, etc...
While she is still young she will probably always be the main character's love interest though.
