I do not even think Jack knew.  She was just angry and wanted...something from Miranda.  It is a testament to Miranda's lack of people skills that she was not able to diffuse the situation.

Oh right cool, where were there people praising us then, and i think we do, as kraidy said we talk about her more as a character, her morals and motivations than we do romance, there certainly aint none of that 'OMGZ i iz in love it miri, i want shep and her to getz maried and have kidz and everyting like iz saw in disney' i dont belive there certainly any of that rubish her, i do think in most times we as more mature than some thread are IMO.

Did you really think Jack went up to Miri's office from her hidey hole, down on lvl 4 of the ship just to say hello to Miri? No Jack wanted to stir things up and wanted an aplogy from Miri. Miri refused, and this started the argument. If Shepard did not stop the fight, Jack would have killed Miri, and if that would have happened I would have shot Jack in th head.

don't think Jack wanted to stir things up..she seemed more upset after finding out what really went on Peragia..and after back on ship she picked on the biggest ranked Cerberus operator on the ship

Yeah, I used to spend a lot of time talking and thinking about how I would have written the romance. Now, not so much. It's Miranda that interests me, not her romance (which may explain why I can both resist her in game and pair her with other people in my head on-paper).

Miri likes to use her body to give her an edge, I don't think that would work with Jack at all.:P

I love Jack. I really liked her character. I do not think she is a threat to the ship or that she should've been dumped planetside because of it. This is why your skill as a leader is needed - because you're going to have to deal with dangerous or unstable people. If you treat Jack like a person she is no threat.

I don't know why Miranda and Jack fans can't get along, really. Is it possible the animosity between those two charactersb in game can sometimes extend to their fans?

A person to blame, after all these years she wanted someone to blame, she knew cerberus was to blame but needed to be able to actuly vent her anger at someone high upin cerberus - which in this case was miri- either was she was completly out of order.

Am I the only one who found the Jack-Miranda dynamic the most interesting in the game?

Again, why? She had nothing to do with that project, nor did she knew what the hell went on there. Jack was hurt and pissed off and wanted someone to vent all her hatred too, she picked Miri, a woman who does not like Jack to begin with, a woman who does not see eye to eye. Jack would have killed Miri without Shepard stopping the fight.

But she doesn't really.  At no time did she use her body to get influence with Shepard or anybody else during the game nor was there any indication she ever has in the past.  As I stated before, her beauty is just another arsenal in intimidating the people around her, which is her form of leadership, at least that is my view.  It keeps her distant emotionally and having to rely on the people she is in charge of.  Keeps her safe.

It certainly is the best relationship between party members in the game.  I do not think it was particularly interesting just because it never goes anywhere.  It starts as mutual loathing and stays that way.

In a small room like Miri's room, Jack would win, in a huge area, Miri would win. A fight was going to happen, Jack was ready, Jack was threatning Miri right to her face.

"**** your feelings, I just want her dead."

I like Jack, but this scene should not have happened at all if Jack would just grow up. Thats why I beleive Bioware should have given us a option to recruit her or not.

I beleive Miri might have used her body in the past to get stuff for Cerberus, remember, she has embraced her self as a tool for Cerberus before she meets Shepard. Ugh wheres that dialog for that conversation, it's the second one when she starts talking to her father, I forget the whole qoute :(

I was not aware you did not find the romance satisfying, though I know you didn't care for the 'sex' scene.  I liked the romance very much, you got to explore Miranda's character and get to know a whole new side of her in it.  And it has been fodder for discussion, regarding the actual 'sex' (make out really) scene and the conversation about it.

But what really is there to say about the Romance?  We get to see Miranda open up and be vulnerable and it is pretty sweet.  But that really just gives us something to work with when exploring the other facets of who she is.

Pretty much this, while I found the sex scene a little meh, I found the romance leading up to it well, I lvoed that there was a person under there, a woman who just wants to be looked at for who she is, not what her looks.

She says her looks give her an edge and they do but I do not think they do in the manner you are suggesting.  I think they make her seem almost super human, make her intimidating and gives people an inferiority complex.  I think that WOULD work on Jack actually and sorta does given how Jack talks about her.

But using them as a form of seduction?  You never get the impression she has, which is surprising frankly.  I mean it would be logical that she has but you have to make a reach, an assumption.  It is never even hinted at.

It's not canon that she uses sex/sex appeal to get her way. However, it's entirely consistent with her character to do so if she thinks it will be effective. Bioware called her a femme fatale. I just like making her one in truth.

Jack does act like a child. I see it plain as day, Jack is very immature.

I am not even sure if it is in character.  She is blunt, direct, to the point and uses her skills and knowledge to solve problems.  Miranda is almost the opposite of the coy flirty and subtle femme fatale.  Her character is more to capture the subject, design a truth serum, and then get all the information she wants that way then spend weeks cultivating a trust.

She does say her body does give her edge, I guess I just took it at meaning she has in the past used sex wo get some stuff. I refuse to beleive Miri was a firgin and was waiting for Shepard, I bleieve tho that there was three people she has had sex with that meant alot to her and was not buisness. I have a feeling her and Jacob did have sex, debatealbe, we know she had sex with Shepard. The third person is very debateable and that is Niket. Discuss :wizard:

Jack does not act like a child in context with what has happened to her.

She acts like a trauma victim and a survivor, which she is. We need to stop arguing about this Jack/Miranda fight, both of them were at fault. Jack should never have gone up there to start the fight and Miranda handled it with unnecessary venom. Case closed.
