I like the idea of romance with that character in general - since Shepard is the only conduit with which we can experience that romance I like the idea of a Shepard and Miranda romance. No, it isn't easy for me to see other Miranda pairings, but if it's written well I can find it enjoyable.

I think your issue is that you're very Miranda-focused but you're very easily bored with Shepard for some reason. Me, I like individual lines of the dialogue in this romance, I like the way Shepard challenges her about being afraid of actually caring for someone, teases her leading up to the kiss scene, stuff like that - no, I liked a lot of the way it was written.

Oh, I love some of the individual lines. But there were times I was forcibly reminded that I wasn't the target audience, most notably the engine room scene. I prefer something with a more overt romanticism (like those ideas I PM'd you).

Why did they lock the Tali thread for good? Did they cross some line or something? What does this mean for the other support threads?

I don't see why they can't just devide this forum into two columns, one for moderator-created permanent support threads, the other for general discussions.

If you'd played her loyalty mission, and brought her along to the final battle, you'd know she's more than a Cerberus apologist.

She comes off as just a Cerberus tool for the majority of the game. Every time Shepard questions her about an atrocity Cerberus commited, Miranda pulls out a handy excuse. She licks IM's shoes even though she apparently is kept mostly in the dark about him...blind obedience I guess. Fits the definition of brainwashed...and apparently she wanted to do the same thing to Shepard by putting controls in Shepards mind.

She's almost the same personality as Ash, one being all gung-ho Alliance and the other all gushy for Cerberus.

Well, I've been watching movies geared toward a certain "target audience" for years, so I suppose I've become desensitized. Besides, the scene was fun in its way.

I notice my perceptions of male Shep change when I pretend I'm not picking dialogue options at all - I completely close off the part of my brain that knows I'm controlling his actions. I act like I'm watching a scene in a movie. 

Shepard becomes more of a character and much less boring. I wish there was a way we could select all the dialogue and then replay the scene without dialogue wheel pop ups.

ok heres the reason... Chris is starting to do a sweep of all the forums... if you look at forum list the list of all tthe fan pages is un stickied, locked, and somewhere inside of the forgotten areas of the forums...

Also I have noticed a few pages go missing from their always front page list... I also now can not seem to find them.

Hmmm, pet wise, a siberian tiger, game wise, probbly KOTOR 1.

The tiger, i dunno why, i just think it would compliment her personality, as for KOTOR i think that she would be able to understand the brilliance of it, especially from a story telling perspective.

Has no one answered your question yet vamp? During the scene where you debate about Cerberus with Miranda, there will be a moment when she approaches the window and stares out. When it appears, choose the "you're jealous" option.

I would give her Urz and Jestina, you don't know what your talking about. just because Miri is not given to you on a silver plater like Liara and you have to get past her barriers does not mean she is a crappy character. Before you bash a character, learn about her her, dam trolls.

About Miranda's 'romance' scene, I would have preferred something similar to Garrus'. Why couldn't she just show up, bring a bottle of wine, and share a kiss with Shepard (no headbutting)? I think it would have fit the course that the romance took (her becoming warmer to Shepard). The 'Engine Room Scene' seems to be, unfortunately, all about the sex.
