I want unique customizable armor for all squadmates similar (but not identical to) what Shepard has.  Miranda should have her own unique look that we can put little bonuses on...and the same for the others.  I wouldn't want to ruin the innovation of having individual outfits at all.

Silly thing, but I wish the loyalty outfit was her default. It suits her much better.

@Jebel Krong:
Casey Hudson's interview was debated extensively here, as you can imagine. Apart from the infamous "Miranda is simpler", there's nothing in there except that "a lot of people responded to her". Doesn't say much.

About Miranda and the spy trade:
Jacob's the brawn and Miranda the brain? Quite correct - what do you think a spy is, as opposed to an assassin or a commando? Someone with skills at dealing with people and information gathering, maybe with a bit of breaking-and-entering and disguise added. Miranda has a lot more than that, but that is the core of the spy trade.

Miranda's the everything.  Nuker, defence stripper, team buffer.  Really, its quite fantastic.

She is the most useful teammate in combat, IMO.

Its true, i keep her in my squad throughout the entire game, more or less, she really is a great all round team mate.

Me too! Really helpful with those shields and armor. And we aldreay have reached 1700 pages.

Well it has been here for the best part of three months, not to mention thread 1.0 that was 315 pages i think.

Well I hope BioWare will see this thread and have to really get Miri in the sequel.

I just hope that she will still be sexy with armor.

You don't have to hope because it will never happen.  It is just my idle wish.

But she would look really sexy in armor.

Like I said, I think the decision on Miranda in ME3 has been made. All we can do is wait. And pray they won't screw her up whatever they decide to do.

Yep.  We are really here for our own entertainment, not to influence Bioware in anyway...I mean if we do great but I won't hold my breathe.

I just have one question though. I don't know if it is only me but her appearance on the box cover is a bit far off from the game itself. I personally like her in-game.

I am not a big fan of one version of the cover art.  I do like the one where she is shooting her gun though.

The other that is just a collection of heads around Shep is sorta meh...but they both look like her.

Bit late, but anyone realise that we've gotten past 2000 pages of largely on topic Miranda discussion?

Question: do you think that Miri would make a good parent?

I think that whislt she is of a almost superhuman level of abiltiy of everything i still think that she would suffer from the usual problems that normal humans have with all this, not knowing what to do, getting fustrated, angry sad, ect, ect, however given time i see that their is alot of room in Miri's heart for love and compassion, especially towards a child of her own, i mean just look at how she is with her little sister, saying that though i do think that she would be one of the over protecive mothers given how she is with Oriana, what do you guys think?

Now, I didn't say I had any new theories. Just new story ideas. Unfortunately, I'm too addicted to this thread to actually work on them.

There are two possible ways this could go as I see it:

It is possible a child would really awaken deeply hiden emotions for her.  I think she would be very doting, very protective, and very loving towards her kids...to the point that I think it would be harmful to their developement.  This would not only address certain needs she has but also a reaction to what she went through.

But she might also try to drive her offspring to achieve and be a cold and domineering mother as well.  In this case she would use the sort of intimidation and way of relating to people she does in her life now and see her children as some sort of project to be successful at.

I think Valmy has it right. I could also see her alternating between the two as she tries desperately to be the perfect mother. I do think she'd lean toward the first.

I think Miranda could be a great parent and I think she likes children,but with that said when it come to other peoples children..no.Look at Jack, for example,Jack is a grown up baby, with zero self control.Miranda is rude to Jack because she didn't sign up to deal with a child with a elavated testosterone level.

Heh...that's how it is with me. Between playing ME2, reading and writing here and my books, to say nothing of my work, there isn't much time writing.

@Prudii Aden:
OK; the last few hundred pages were largely on-topic. But I recall times when we had 20 off-topic pages per day. That was unpleasant - and when I complained I was told to mind my own business. That was rude. I very much prefer the way it's going now. Also the speed.
(BTW, why can't I quote your post?)

@all:
I've just played through the last romance conversation again - the promise/no promises scene. Some of you have said they'd prefer this to take place immediately before the love scene. While I can see how that would appeal, I do not agree. I like the tension that builds up between this scene and the next one, and very much prefer them to be separate.

Since I have always been a big supporter of temporary digressions in this thread it feels weird to say this BUT it seems these threads are being watched by the mods. I am glad we have been so militant about staying on topic all this time. It keeps us open and talking.

Jack is not a grown up baby. She has a certain earthiness and realization of how the world works but she...well she resembles a very young person because she is inward gazing and has a certain idealism about how the world should go and its not living up to her expectations gives her a cynical streak.

But anyway yeah Miranda is not really somebody you would want to be a baby sitter. She lacks a certain sensitivity to other people's shortcomings. Being her own kids she might be blinded to that because of her love for them...just my thinking.

We listened.  We moved the OT stuff to a group and left this thread free for Miranda only topics.  We sorta lashed out at the time because it was the only place we had to discuss those things at the time.  Sorry for being rude.

Very well said, i think what you said about Miri not being a baby sitter, but being blinded when it come to her own kids because she loves them is spot on.

And i think i read that when chris closed down the Tali thread yesterday that they will be keeping an eye on all support threads, cant blame them, they are the biggest threads on the fourms and they are only doing there jobs so you cant fault them really.
