I have to post this since until now I haven't had any picture of the hug scene:

Now on my way to the Collector base in my "personal canon maleShep playthrough". It's taken me quite some time to create a Shepard who's authentic to me and think of all his decisions. Not quite sure of who will die yet. But Miranda will be with me on the platforms again...

About Miranda and other people's shortcomings, I'd say she may have the sensitivity to notice them, but she certainly hasn't much patience with them.

See i love the hug scene and all but to actually get the hug it feels like emotinal blackmail to get it and i hate doing that, but i think it might just be worth it, just to get the hug lol.

I hate emotional blackmail with a passion, and this doesn't feel like it. You only have to be honest - no promises and the question "is it worth it?" I think this is the focal scene for a future commitment, regardless of how long they will have - a day or several decades.

Good point, on that note, couldn't an Adept Shepard hold the force field and let Miranda lead?After all, she is second in command and it would be interesting  to she how she leads.

The only things that I can think of that I've come up with that could be qualified as making them miserable are having Miranda have a hand in Akuze, the Reaper tech theory, and TIM hunting Miranda after she resigns. The Reaper tech thing isn't original to me, and she would logically have to know if it had been implanted. TIM hunting her is just an extrapolation from Ascension. As for Akuze, well, I was just so sick of it not being dealt with in-game at all that I felt compelled to deal with it in the most dramatic way I could think of. But, no, I don't actively seek out these ideas.

Nah i was tempted by sole survivor but then i scrolled down and saw war hero and i was like thats got me and my shepard written all over it.
