A little slow right now, I see. So who's the most over the top or controversial Miranda fan? and be honest.
Over the top? Couldn't say. Controversial? That's an easy one.
And I liked the pics too! Very good.

I'm not sure but my forum skills are a bit rusty so bare with me. As far as I know just place [ IMG ] URL [ /IMG ] then you're good to go. You just need to upload the picture from your computer to a server. And remove the spaces in between.

Miranda betrays Shepard and decides that she can handle the Reaper threat herself. She overthrows TIM and takes over Cerberus, and takes a ruthless and coldly logical approach to defeating the Reapers and vanquishing her enemies.jtav wrote...
Intellectual exercise time: if you were going to turn Miranda into a villain, what would you do?
Of course I haven't thought about the subject, really. That's all I have right now.
Note: Above example isn't what I think Miranda is or what she'd do, it's just if I would make her a villain.

I think if she did that, she would not succeed in any way.

Reading over the initial reviews of Alpha Protocol. Looks like the game's pretty dreadful. Looks like I'll never get my wish of playing a spy in an RPG. What I wouldn't give to play as Miranda for one mission. Or the opportunity to play Shep as a sneaky rogue type. Intelligence instead of military. I think most of my whining would evaporate.
Well there was Thane's loyalty mission in where you needed to spy Talid.

Anyway if that is the case, they are non-identical twins...

I second that: We need an ME spinoff with Miranda as tne protagonist. And it should not be a shooter, but focus on spy stuff. The "If too many people see you, you're dead" type of game.jtav wrote...

(I hear the Bioware people occasionally read these threads.)
@Shadedclan:
Yes, I liked that mission. Your movement was too much prescripted though. No climbing, no jumping. And no swimming in the Presidium lakes.
That's one tendendy in games in general I dislike. No alternative modes of movement. Just walking and running. Meh.

Miranda says Oriana is her twin sister, and she can only be her genetic twin, because the usual definition of twin doesn't apply. That Oriana looks like one the ME universe generic women instead of like a 19-year-old Miranda is probably a modelling issue. Bioware didn't want to make an extra model for a character you see for about five seconds, and used one of the game's standard models instead, tweaked here and there for a little individuality.snfonseka wrote...

It's the easiest mission in ME2. Though, yes, I wish there were climbing,Ieldra2 wrote...

jumping and swimming. Maybe a little splinter cell on the side. As far as I can see, Spectres are like splinter cells too!

Here's a scenario:jtav wrote...
Intellectual exercise time: if you were going to turn Miranda into a villain, what would you do?
In an attempt to get at high-ranking Cerberus operatives, the Council sends a Spectre to capture or kill Miranda. Only they get the wrong target and kill Oriana instead. Miranda, bent on revenge, tries to manipulate events in the war against the Reapers so that the Citadel and the Council will be destroyed, basically playing both sides against each other while standing by and watching. Meanwhile, TIM is watching - and smiliing. Events proceed as planned, for after Citadel civilization and the Reapers have destroyed each other, Cerberus will rule what's left. And all because he gave that Spectre his target...
OK, I admit this makes Miranda a secondary villian, even a somewhat tragic figure, but while I can play up some personality traits to give her a villain's personality, I have a hard time giving her a typical villain's goal. She just doesn't have the necessary megalomania. I find the tragic villain more interesting anyway.
