Kelly? I like the subtle relationship, not too serious. Morinth? You'll die! Like Samara better. I feel a brother-sister relationship of Tali and Shepard... sort of. And who could forget our Miss Lawson?Auzden wrote...

I don't like having Kelly as a romance option. I prefer to think of Kelly's flirting as more of the innocent playful type, rather than her or Shepard intending for it to go anywhere (like Moneypenny and Bond).
I consider Kelly a fling, so does Bioware since they admitted that Kelly was a fling.

I know the official line, but I still prefer the version in my head

I do not think there will be any new romance options. They'll have their hands full with the old ones.Auzden wrote...

Here a few key facts I consider important:CamoBadger wrote...
The help I require, is that I would appreciate if one, or a few, of you would help me to make sure that I keep Miranda true to her character in this story. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
(1) Miranda is competent and confident in her abilities. Keep her that way. Nothing will ruin Miranda faster than making her weak or nothing but another's satellite.
(2) Miranda is wary of emotional entanglements, but not unable to deal with them. You can play up her emotional insecurity, but not to the point where it makes her seem weak.
(3) Miranda loves her sister. Making her not care about Oriana would need a very good explanation. She has no mother, having been created in part from synthetized genes by her father. She definitely does not love her father.
(4) Miranda keeps her distance, as a rule. Attempts to get personal information will be coolly rebuffed. Exceptions like Shepard notwithstanding.
(5) Miranda prefers subtlely and finesse to open action and brute force. She's also a good leader and coordinator, though she lacks Shepard's charisma.
If you write a story featuring Miranda, gutty47's online Miranda dialogue tree might prove invaluable. It features almost all Miranda/Shepard dialogue in the game and should answer any questions left. For more subtle things, like what her tone of voice says about her, you'll have to search for Miranda videos on youtube.

Hence why some people think she is a bi*ch because she does not care about making friends.

We are not told. But I guess there is some fanfic about it. I've gone off on a tangent in my own fanfic fragment on page 117, speculating that biotics might make humans be able to experience something not unlike the asari mind meld. Which is probably complete nonsense. But since the ME universe is full of other nonsense, I didn't care.Shadedclan wrote...

Well since we don't have biotics and will never experience the unparalled ecstacy brought in by using mass effect fields, can Miri be pregnant? Because of her being created.Ieldra2 wrote...

I don't see why she couldn't get/be pregnant. There is nothing to say that biotics in humans makes humans sterile.

I don't think Miranda's father, that prospective founder of humanity's genetic aristocracy, would have given her biotics if he thought she couldn't have children because of it. Apart from that, I'd be surprised if late 22nd century biotechnology couldn't produce an egg from a woman's stem cells (or even a man's) to facilitate reproduction in the case of sterility.Prudii Aden wrote...
