I lean more to "what kind of Shepard am I?" then what does the Squaddie doing. After all you help friends not make bad decisions. Generally speaking if I'm going Renegon I let them kill, paragon I "save them from themselves."

Out of Aresh, Maelon, and Niket. Niket's the only one that dies no matter what, and is clearly shown dead. Why the discretion with the other two? Idk if I can believe either of the other two died if you let them go. That's beside the point, I'm gunna check out both endings and see what's up. At that moment, though, Miranda wants to shoot him, and she's pretty confident in her decisions. The choice seems to be she either has anger or regrets...idk which is preferable.

I think this part shows how much she cares for her sister, she wnats to kill her best friend to protect her sister without looking at alternitives. This is the only time that Miri's emotions get in the way of her thinking, it shows she is human.

she still has her spunky self hidden away in there. She just has alot of loss and responsibility holdign it in check right now.
