Huh. I heard RDR was basically a masterpiece. Maybe the sandbox/GTA/free roam type gameplay isn't for everyone.
Pretty much this, I still think Morrowind was the best free roam game of all time tho, simply because you could screw up the game by killing plot crititcal characters.

Red Dead Redemption. It's in a way a western-themed Grand Theft Auto.Shadedclan wrote...
What RDR?

I'll just give you this to remind you that a complete page of OT is undesirable and will get us shut down it we aren't careful.

*goes off to skim the last few pages to see if there's anything to reply to*

I also did't mean to do it on purpose either just to let you know. I just messed up by accident.

I'm not sure I want Miranda to appear in that movie. That is, of course I do, but I fear it'll be all crap as all game-based movies have been in the past. I wouldn't want Miranda's character butchered by a bad movie, and I wouldn't want Yvonne Strahovski have to play a role in it.Shadedclan wrote...
Okay, so we all know that there is a Mass Effect movie underway. So who would be the best actress for Miranda? Other than Yvonne, of course.
If there's any chance it'll be a good movie, then of course I'm all for it. I guess Yvonne Strahovski will be the first choice for obvious reasons anyway. Other than her, hmm, I'm not so knowledgeable about actresses, but perhaps Rachel McAdams should be considered.
@kraidy:
All right.

Is that the scene at the start of the loyalty mission? I always do that, for three reasons: (1) A surprise attack is the obvious tactic here, (2) I love the expression on that salarian's face, (3) That scene is the very definition of badass. I don't think there is a better Renegade interrupt scene in the whole game.Andaius20 wrote...
Do you do it?

Haven't done that yet. Killing your best friend is an extreme move even if he betrayed you. I have one Renegade femShep left to play. She'll do it. Maybe I'll replay a maleShep whose character isn't that defined yet, too. I can see myself doing that. What I'll probably never do is not to encourage Miranda to talk to her sister.Sixth Goul wrote...

Making a movie about Shepard would also be challenging because s/he is deliberately designed to be such an ambiguous character. Who Shepard is is defined by us, the players. Having a screenwriter come up with something would ruin that for a lot of people because rightly or wrongly, a Shepard movie would canonize the screenwriter's perception of the character.

Also the Rachni or Krogan war would also be a good thing to do, and as you said the Protheans exyinction would also be good, but doing a movie on Shepard will do alot of harm because each Shepard is unique to the player.

It's not so easy, you know. The problem is: if you had Shepard's history and his abilities, you wouldn't be you. That's why I have a different approach with my main Shepard. Rather than "What would I do in that situation", I ask "What kind of man would I be with Shepard's experiences behind me and his abilities", and make my decisions based on that. His big decisions (that also applies to my main femShep) are always based on my own philosophy, though. For instance, I'd never throw away knowledge. That's particularly relevant for the Collector Base and Kasumi's and Mordin's loyalty missions. I also always keep the knowledge from the "Lost Operative" sidequest for myself.kraidy1117 wrote...

It's not easy, your right, however the only choice that I made because of metagaming was the whole tiral thing simply because I did't want Tali dieing. Also I kpet the graybox and the knowledge from the "lost "Operative" my self too, I even decided to keep the Genophage cure reserch, not to cure the Krogan, but it's better to have it just in case. I don't plan on curing it unless I have too (after the war the Krogans are pretty much a dead race and need to have a baby boom to survive. As for the Collector base, you know my thought on it
