Tali is not obsessive. Honestly, I fantasize about an ending where she, Miranda and Liara say "Screw this emotionally constipated idiot" and run off to fight pirates/slavers/Shadow Broker.

Evidence for emotional constipation?  This sorta borders on misandry frankly and makes me a little uncomfortable.

Valmy, FemShep is just as bad. There were several places where I felt his/her emotional response was lacking, most notably in the Liara reunion and his/her (lack of) reaction to being dead.

I don't know how you roleplay your Shepards, but I miss an ironic comment about that. I imagine my Shepard being shocked at the revelation, but not too much because she'd have thought of how such a thing could be done before. Anyway, all she'd say would be something like:
"Well....it seems death isn't as final any more as it used to be."

You're right about the Liara encounter. But most of the time, Shepard's tone, male and female alike, is OK. "Emotional constipation" does not seem like an appropriate term. And for Miranda, cautious as she is with her emotions herself, complaining about it seems odd.

First time you go back to the Citadel and go through security, choose the middle option. Shepard says "Well, I was only mostly dead, but try fying that on government paperwork."Image IPB

Gotta love Princess Bride references.

That was a great reference. And I am a bit odd when it comes to Shep. And Miranda. And Tali. I project too much on the last two, and not enough on the first.

Miranda's attitude regarding what? Cerberus? Shepard?

I'm more concerned about the Renegade path. Bioware, in a rather out-of-character way, made her promote the Paragon decision about the Collector base, so what I really fear is that she suddenly starts to act Paragon in most things, and that isn't the Miranda we came to know - and love - in ME2. If that happens, I'll send Bioware an ME3 DVD broken in half with "Paragon Miranda: we have dismissed that claim" written over it.

I could accept it if she went a bit more Renegade, as long as it isn't jerk territory. But her character development doesn't point into that direction.

As long as Miri does not say "charge" to a poor Volus I am fine.

Hmm. Picture time. In this new shot of a well-known scene, you can see more of her face than in the one I posted a few weeks ago:

This may be my favorite Miranda setting. I'd want my Shepard to take the chair next to her and spend some time with her in companionable silence.

I'm going to say good night with my Miranda on Omega impression - I still didn't get a better angle on her face without making it look odd, but I like the lighting.

And I finally have my Miranda in Love musical theme. And it happens to be one of my favorite pieces of music ever. Me and my love for Rodgers & Hammerstein.

No link. This actually comes from my personal collection. "If I Loved You" from Carousel, specifically the instrumental version that plays during the Pas de Deux. If you ever saw Benjamin Button, it's what Daisy's dancing to when Benjamin sees her in the theatre. Don't ask me to explain it. Just the way my mind works.

Am I the only one who gets the urge to brush Miranda's hair out if her face? I have this obsession with her hair. And eyes. Just me?

No, it's not just you. I love her eyes and I was hoping Shepard would have brushed her hair, did't surprise me tho. Shepard has a much emotion as a tea spoon does.

Realistically, the engine probably couldn't handle it. I still want to run my fingers through it, stroke it, etc. Which is funny, because I could get my hair to look like that without much trouble.

That's it, Liara is totally going to be playing with Miranda's hair in this story. Anyone want an excerpt? I actually posted it in the Liara thread a while back, but it has a nice character moment for Miranda.

YES!!!!! I also like the sound of Liara playing with Miri's hair.
