I've finally come up with a Miranda/Shepard idea. It involves Shepard getting stuck inside a dream world where Miranda is completely devoted to him instead of the mission/Cerberus (ie Miranda the sex kitten with no other personality) In the real world, our Miranda tries desperately to keep the Normandy running and wake Shep up. He has to shoot the dream Miranda to escape. Bit cliche, but I've not seen it done for ME. Should I indulge or keep plugging away at the Miranda/Thane.

I do think that miri excels in Biology or maybe even physics?
I believe she would excel at all physical sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Physics) as she would need these for a medical training.

Ya I think Miri was part of the science department of Cerberus, which would explain her outfit.

Dr. Lawson. I don't like the name.
I like it, but I guess she's not technically a 'Dr.'

I do too. I kinda find the name Operative Lawson kinda sexy in a odd way.
I want to give her a title that reflects her intelligence, her hard earned accomplishments...'Miss' doesn't cut it! That just means she was born a female.

Hard to say. I think as we meet her, she's not the type to appreciate it, but there's room for her to develop an interest. classical mythology would also most certainly only have been a minor aspect of her education, if at all. Her father's human-centric agenda seems a bit too technocratic in approach to allow for more.jtav wrote...
Anyone care to hazard a guess as to whether Miranda would be familiar with classical mythology? If someone made a reference to the Lotus Eaters, would she get it?
Edit:
I've read the arguments from the other side, and they also sound convincing. I remain undecided.
Appreciate it. Both parts.Ieldra, you might get your Miranda/Shepard after all. Bit twisted and dark, though.
@kraidy:
Timing correct:lol:

Only in a somewhat formal discourse. And not in academic circles, they tend to omit the titles there. That Liara is referred to with her degree as often as she is actually sounds strange to me.jlb524 wrote...

I'd give the edge to Mordin or Miranda. All three are frighteningly smart, but Liara tends more to knowing a lot about a few subjects than knowing a bit about everything.Mordin seems to have picked up a bit of everything, and Miranda is a generalist as well.
Haa haa! That's right. Liara is a Ph.D. and they tend to know a frightenly great deal but just about one subject.
I always wondered something about Miranda...wouldn't she have a Ph.D. or a medical degree? I think she would, given that she was placed in charge of the Lazaurs Project. I assume that role would require advanced biological/medical training. Should she be called 'Dr. Lawson' instead of 'Ms. Lawson'?

No, I disagree very much. She would definitely not insist on the title. That would be a sign of vanity.jtav wrote...
I don't think she's a doctor. She'd insist on the title. I think she could pass as a medical doctor but she doesn't have the degree.
