Guys! How should I handle this Garrus mission? Should I let him take the shot or not?
Well, for me, having done the "Paragon route" in ME1 with Garrus, I didn't let him take the shot. It seems like Garrus took Shepard's death pretty hard and forgot everything I tried to teach him about the "path of Paragon." His quest for vengeance is eating Garrus up. I don't like what it's doing to him. He needs a friend who will stand up to him.
I think what makes this choice so difficult, and so powerful, is that you and Garrus go back to ME1. When you're playing a regular "Paragon" playthrough, it doesn't matter as much to you that (say) Jack gets her revenge or not, but you have more attachment to Garrus. I think this is why Bioware really draws the paragon path out, by making you block the shot for several intervals. You have to really want to do this to get Garrus to realize that he's letting what happened to his old squad tear him up.
