Lost my game mojo recently...not played since last weekend, though think I am going to fire up ME2 again today.

Was heavily into DA, but after the nes regarding the expansion, just have no interest in touching it again any time soon to be honest....really can't see the point.

Asides from those, nothing new on the horizon, unless someone can recommendsome good PC games, will probably go back to FSX for a while when ME2 bored me (though that will be temp only lol)....maybe do another Fallout3 or GoW run through to pass the time....

Bioshock 2 wasn't bad not quiet as good as the first but still good

I just bought some PC games and am using the keyboard in ways I haven't for several years.

I had to do it- this one game I just got is ONLY on the PC so I had to do it and I'm actually not that rusty.

 

I played a little bit of ME 1 but its graphics do not look very good on a HD TV

Oh, y'know...got into a beta test for an obscure Real-Time Strategy Game coming out in a bit...a small, obscure, title....dunno how many people have heard of it...begins in S....ends in "tarcraft 2."

Interesting how a story and visuals can change a games 'status'. Going back to MW2....it was slated to high hell; for being so short (around 12 hours iirc) but to be fair to it, it has the MP aspect for longevity, but goven its price tag (espeically on the consoles) 12 hours etertainment is pants for £40+...

So was very suprised to hear your estimate....(and I'm not bashing, I do fancy playing it, and just found out next doors grandson got it today so might have to invade his house for a play through lmao)...was just shocked that this has less longevity, less time to play yet has received shining endorsements....I really hope this is not the way games are going to go, im all for flash and visuals and storyline, but not at the expense of 'actual entertainment' if you follow what I mean

As I think I said in one of my previous posts it is about 8-10 hours, BUT there is major replayability with it if you want to explore a lot of the possibilities in it.

You would definitly need more than a few days to do this (simply because your mind will most likely be blown out after the first playthrough anyway )

Put it this way, there is 7 'official' endings that need to be got for one of the achievements BUT... I believe these are only truly recorded if you do specific things throughout the game, which basically means you can seriously come out with a whole lot more varied endings.

I've read a guide today listing the endings and I know I haven't got one of the 'official' ones. Am not bothered about the achievement but I am going to go through the game again and make some different choices. I won't even bother looking at that guide again because I'll probably then feel compelled to try getting the 7 official endings hehe.

Edit: One of my ME2 playthroughs looks like it'll be waiting a while before I get round to finishing it as I really want Kasumi as part of my Suicide Mission team rather than tacked on post-end mission. As it is a 'Woman Power' femshep playthrough where the only guy living will be Mordin (got to have a good scientist on board). Also it means won't be redoing my first playthrough till she is around.

I don't get why they haven't confirmed/denied her position yet. If she isn't in, then why not just say so, if she is in, it'd be nice to have an idea of when they expect to add her.

Pondering which playthrough to tackle next. Might reload the one I finished last night back before the IFF and see if I can get Jack to live this time by getting more upgrades for the team pre-IFF. I really enjoyed playing Vanguard.

Still not happy with season 3 though, unless NBC sort it out asap (and I mean by the end of this season, so they 15 episodes left yes?) they are going to lose a BIG section of their viewers imo, but at least the normal writers got back on board for episode 2 onwards, last of 2 and first of 3 were almost as if they were written by a 15 year old imo...least its improved again.

But if they dont sort it out and get them together in some capacity by the end off this season, i fear the show is all over imo, as the Chuck/Sarah relationship (imo) is what the show is all about, everything is secondary.

Agreed, but I guess good times are ahead. Zach will be directing one episode himself, which could be fun. The promo bodes well too. The Zach's podcasts don't reveal that much, but atleast it shows they are still having fun doing the show.

I'm a bit lost now to be honest. I haven't played ME2 for more than an hour in the last 2 weeks and I've finished Heavy Rain...I guess I'll finish off my career on Forza 3. The next game I want to buy will be DAO: Awakening and then Just Cause 2...then Convcition, then Red Dead...bring on April!
