Aw, you guys are making me sad with this "nice guys finish last" attitude!

I like nice guys! Nice, nerdy guys, at that. Yet I somehow always end up with ****s...

Why can't I be Sarah Walker and end up with a guy like Chuck?

I am a nice nerdy guy...

Sorry could't resist. Anyways at least Miri likes good boys....

If you're referring to the MI6 agent, Cole Barker, then yes. I have. I was just taking the ****** out of our UK friends. :)

It's a good thing he was only in one episode. *Grunt's voice* I wanted to kill him....with my hands.

Reavus, its sad. That only means those girls were stupid. If i had a very good friend, i would give it a try. (well, have one, but i think its too early for that)

such people who you presented are in both sex groups. the man can be as damn fool as woman.

Oh, I agree that the phrase ca be overused and writers should strive to be more creative, but it can still be effective if used sparingly and they haven't been use at all in the enire trilogy. And Miranda doesn't strrike me as having much trouble saying it once she's decide she does love him.

I almost wish I hadn't cut the scene where Shep essentially says I love you by telling her to use his first name, but it makes more sense for the story to end with them temporarily estranged.

Perhaps Miranda could say "I wish I knew how to quit you!".

I'm trying to draw the whole romance plot out**. I wish there was a way (though there likely won't be) that I could basically have this attraction between them that neither of them admit to each other. I want to have this really climatic feeling when I get towards the end of ME 3, like their relationship is finally coming to fruition.  I just like the idea of them really getting to know each other over two games, and surrending to their feelings in the final part of the romance plot.

**I'm  talking about my decision to cut off the Miranda romance at the part where you can agree to be friends with Miranda, and Shepard says "Maybe someday?". Just incase anyone wasn't around for when I talked about that.

Good job, Andy. He must not be allowed to get between Chuck and Sarah ever, ever.

Haha! At least he was nice to Chuck and not an ass. That was the only redeeming quality.

BTW, for all those hopelessly romantic Englishmen and others out there, it should be said that we Germans have invented classical romanticism, which isn't quite the same as romance, but they have a lot in common. Sadly it is an almost forgotten heritage, forgotten by everyone but those people who wear black all the time, don't know what you call them in English.

Lol. Romance spans generations and all people. It's probably the most universal issue everyone can have a view on :P

Besides, this is Mirimania, home of the hopeless romantics.

We need some Canadian love in here. Our culture can be summed up in three words: coffee, beer and hockey. Plus, we have Bioware.

Ouch, then you have my sympathy.  I thought I had it bad at 23.  As for the way I said that comment, my family is from the North West, the Manchester area to be precise, so as a child I picked up an awful lot of speech mannerisms from them.
