I've said that before about Tali. Not sure about Liara. Unfortunately, XX55XX didn't ask the players' age in his great poll, otherwise I could tell you in five minutes (I have all 857 entries archived, should anyone be interested).

Well majority of Miri fans are males, with a couple of female fans. Tali fans are younger then 20 because majority of them are very immature. I won't say anything on Liara since I don't like her and I don't want to start a flame war.

Ieldra did an unofficial poll on this on the old thread. There's a Bioware Social poll on the age of Tali people somewhere.

I would actually agree with this. It seems that way.

I have to agree with this as well. I'm 45 and I much prefer Liara or Miranda over Tali or Jack. Tali feels like my sister and jack is just too damn nutso for me.

Anecdotal evidence is no evidence. And I'm 47 and prefer Miri, too. SF fan since 1969, as the moon landing happened to coincide with me learning to read fluently.

18 and Miri all the way... Age does not reflect maturity in some cases and then there's personal preference aswell

Same, Tali is like a little sister to me. I wish we had that option in ME2 instead of telling Tali off >_>

What would be really fun is if we could ask people who played both BG2 and ME2 what their favorite romance was. Miranda has some similarities with Jaheira and Jack's romabce is essentially an abridged version of Viconia's. Tali is less similar to Aerie, but she's still the "sweet" option.
