It would seem I have to exude wisdom and experience from here on.

And sorry Darth, but the balding, bearded, wrinkly and white haired old is actually in the youngins group with you.

yes, 10 post. great.
Miranda is slowly winning, so stop complaining :D by tomorrow she will have beaten Ash, im sure.

hah, take your best shot. only slammerhead (?) knows here :P

I cheated on Ash with Miri. Can't wait to see the ****storm between them in ME3.

Also type faster :wizard:

One playthrough where am cheating on Ash it is with Jack...

Can just see it now...

Jack "Am going to smear the wall with you beatch!!"
Ashley "Oh captain, my captain!"
Shepherd "Not what you said to me on Horizon"
*Ashley gets pulped*
Miranda "Hell or high water Shepherd, that your plan?"

My one concern is that it'll just be a repeat of ME with the LIs saying "It either me or her/him" and then the one you don't stick with will either lose loyalty or just leave. No big fights, nothing really as over-dramatised as they are making it out to be.

Although that being said, perhaps it could affect whether the ME LIs join up with you to begin with.

Though would have to query how they find out about a ME2 LI beforehand.

What doesn't seem to make any sense is that I believe they have retconned Tali and Garrus, because surely they would know if you were in a relationship with an ME LI? Everyone else seemed to know.

Non of my Miri-mance Sheps are going to be ones who had a ME LI tho, closest to that situation would be one who was LI with Jack but Jack not survive ship ride on suicide mission then when Miri quits Cerberus when blow base up, Shep realises that it is Miri that he really liked.

@Toshi: Haha. No, no. I think TIM was better. I'm sorry for complaining. It won't happen again.

@Darth: Our own thread? Isn't that called private messaging? We've got that much covered, I think. ;-)

Yes, I'm quite familiar with that particular conspiracy theory. Somewhere in my archive there must be this old article outlining why conspirary theories work and why there easily recognized as bullsh*t. anyway. Let's not get into that. Miranda could cut through the crap in a second anyway. :)

I'm reminded of what I've just written in a review, particularly that the words "I love you" have been overused so much that they've lost any meaning, and I'd prefer to use something else to express love. But yes, I'd like to see our Shepard and Miranda express what they feel for each other in an unmistakeable way, and have the prospect of a future together, while the particular kind of future should remain cloudy so that everyone can insert his or her own interpretation. I, for instance, wouldn't go for marriage - my vision would include something akin to what I've written on page 117.

I don't want to see the whole big house in the suburbs, great kids, perfect mariage kind of ending. That would be kind of lame to me. I like your idea, though, Ieldra. It's hard for me to imagine what I'd do (as Shepard) after the fighting's over.

If Miranda somehow dies in ME 3, I'm likely going to choose the sacrifice ending, assuming it's an option.

This (these :P). Completely agree with you guys.

Ieldra, I share your feelings that some words and expressions are so overused these days that they are meaningless to me. I hear people left and right constantly say "I love you", in situations where it dilutes the significance of the expression, turning it into an empty husk, devoid of any real feeling and emotion.

That was actually one of the things I loved about romancing Miranda. Their feelings for each other were not stated, they were demonstrated by their actions and interactions, which made me feel they were much deeper than if they had said anything like "I love you".

And Toshi, I'm with you on the sacrifice ending for ME3 if Miranda dies. I don't have any suicidal tendencies, even in game, but for my Shep, living another century after defeating the reapers and having to deal with all the BS in the galaxy that you know will never change without Miranda by his side, it's preferable to go out with a bang.

26, agree tali is way more like a sister then a romance to me

jtav...you know im kind of glad im not the only that saw Miranda and Jaheira, and can acutaly see Aerie and Tali being alike not Jack and Viconia through as I acutaly liked Viconia as a romacne choice in BG2 and dont like Jack as a choice in ME2<like the character to a point just not the romance>

@kraidy definitely not Leliana. she was soooo sweeet and good that it was making me sick. Morri, of course ^^' she and Miri are the best wirtten characters by Bioware so far, IMO.

Morrigan was the best character in DAO because of the end, no happy endings. :wizard:

TIM is epic because of Sheen. I remember watching his movies when I was young.
