I am now making it my mission to gentically engineer an exact replica of Miri... or build a life like Miribot. Either way, I will have my Miri!
It can't be any worse than the Tali doll.
OT: Kabraxal, forgot to mention that I played and loved Heavy Rain while you were away. Top game.

I'm going to be replaying that, ME2, and then FFXIII... add in all the fanfics I have to work on and I have no life outside of gaming in any way. But that really isn't a bad thing.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I think I'll be giving FFXIII a miss though, I'm not really into JRPGs anymore. I've still not finished Lost Odyssey which I bought last summer, lol. I just find them too much of a chore now.

I tend towards JRPGs, but then most non Bioware titles have little to no story. I am a story/character driven gamer, so if it doesn't have a story I just don't care... well, unless it is FIFA... Forza Milan!
That's true. I did used to love my JRPG's I just can't seem to motivate myself to play through them now. I do want to finish Lost Odyssey because I've heard it's great but last time I played it I struggled through about 8 random battles then got to a boss that killed me instantly. I don't have the patience to go back thorugh it all again.
Even though the stories aren't great I do love me a Bethesda RPG though, Fallout 3 is just heaven!

Anyone has tried The Witcher? I found it alright, nothing major, but it was okey.
I was really enjoying it but my PC could barely run it. I've been looking for a decent laptop lately that will be able run it a little better.

It's okay. Parts of it scream unfinished while other parts are up there with Bioware. Hopefully the sequel gets the developer a full head of creative steam this time.

I liked Oblivion and Morrowind. But then the lore more than made up for a more a shallow story and Oblivion's lush enviroments are still some of the best in gaming.
I never played Morrowind but boy did I love Oblivion. I must have put about 500 hours into that baby, and every one was fantastic.

But good luck!
BTW, I read your first two chapters. I like your version of Shepard so far. I'll keep reading...

@Andy Yeah, mine had problems running it as well, but I was able to enjoy it for the most part. Same with Dragon Age. I can play it well until I reach the final battle, then it all goes south. My last few RPGs: MEs, DA:O, M&M: The Dark Messiah, The Witcher. My experiences are rather limited.
I did find it quite funny in The Witcher how you could sleep with pretty much every woman in the game and then you collected a little card afterwards.

Sounds like you are waiting to pounce... I shall have to woo you with my broken and hurt Shepard!
And definetely more than a two year project... more like two lifetimes so I can learn robotics, AI programming, and Australian accents... not to mention tailoring a wonerful black leather suit and making sure hot dripping chocolate wouldn't short circuit the robot. As for gentically engineering... hah. My brain would explode.
