This does remind me of a little bit of a conversation I had in undergrad. I had taken the Beginning Creative Writing class, and after wards the professor recommended I take the Advanced class. (I was quite prolific even before that, but I took the Beginning class first because I figured they were all basically the same...)
One of the students in the advanced class talked a lot about how he was struggling to move past 'modernist fallacies' such as 'plot', 'character', and 'narrative'.
Pfft - who needs a plot?
Oh man, you too?
Now I don't feel so alone.

Also sorry Mav for confusing you with such big words

From the six chapters you've published so far I think it's fair to say that Meg appears to be unfairly forcing a plot upon you. I feel your pain man, I feel your pain...Rathias0114 wrote...

I keep trying to tell her "WOMAN! We're not here to advance the story between these two characters in an shape and form!"
But she NEVER listens. She just keeps shoving story and characterizations down my throat!
I go to bed crying every night because my story is getting ruined every day. :'(

I could hear Yvonne say 'no' (or rather 'naouio') all day. That could just not be cuter.
