Eh, measuring the size of a characters fanbase is tricky business. Miranda has the second largest thread and second largest group, but I don't think that means she's more popular then (say) Wrex, or Mordin, or Garrus, characters everyone likes.

And forum support is just one rubric. Tali's definitely the most popular character around these parts, but across all people who played ME2, who knows?

I am just saying her fanbase is realy huge, that is what got Tali the spot in ME2.

Am I the only one still who sees the last thread at 316 pages? I'm just curious if I've really gone over the edge now, lol.

I know we were at 315 when it was closed but a couple of posts ninja'd their way in to push us to 316.

But from what I've seen most people do actually use Miranda in their parties as well, Jesse Houston even commented on how he missed using her whilst doing an insanity playthrough during a Q&A session week before release. So erm, yeah... chances of Miri NOT being in ME3 are about as slim as a 1mm slice of cheese.

That and the fact she is nigh impossible to kill until the final battle sequence (either dead in door defence or non loyal final battle party).

Only thing I can think that might stop it is if they don't get Yvonne to do the voice. :crying:

Anyways - since we are at 300 pages... I was going to surprise you all with a new chapter in the fanfiction... probably our best and most pleasing chapter by far...

However...

Considering ME2 success, I don't think she would refuse.

True, remember guys, Drew knows how the trilogy is going to end. The script has been done for awhile (tho Mark and Drew probaly made some changes) Remember, Mark Meer started doing his VO for ME2 like last year.

Anyways Bioware is hoping for a 2011 releases date.

Mine will find a way to replicate the Big Bang and frak the whole fraking universe, to reset the timeline and give her another chance to survive without dying. Shepard died and it wasn't fun, so he doesn't want her to have the same fate.

Well, since they only recently announced Mark Meer would be in for ME3, it doesn't seem likely that they've gotten all the VA done already--though they might had a contract for ME3 with whatever VA in ME2 they wanted. (Really, can anyone think how jarring it would be for SHEPARD to suddenly get a new voice?)

(IIRC, they did keep Martin Sheen under wraps for a while though. I hope he's back in ME3, too, because he was awesome as TiM.)

I agree with whoever said that she may already be contracted for ME3. Pluss if she's seen this thread (Which is slightly possible she could've been curious to see how people felt about her part in the game) we may be a wittle persuasive with our happy joyous-ness
