@Strikor: That was hilarious. I can't believe how crazy a few of them got. I know they aren't representative of the Tali nation at all, but it was still ridiculously funny.



@Flashy: Ugh. I know. I read about Sarah telling frakking frak her name before I left for class so I've been pissed off all evening. I will never give up on Chuck, especially since I know Shaw is gone soon and Charah are destined to be together (hopefully within the next 4 or 5 episodes). I'm just getting really tired of this shyte. /rant

Oh no, it's not that. Mostly not, anyway - there's a minority for everything. The problem is that aliens exist who just happen to be shaped as to be attractive to and "mechanically compatible" with humans. For more details see my posts on page 3ff. of this thread.

But apart from romance, no, I'm not anti-alien at all, nor are most of my Shepards. In fact, it's notable that considering femShep romances, the aliens are all more interesting than the humans as characters, which lead me to post "I wish Garrus was human" in the Garrus support thread.

Wow. This is very... Miranda-esque. Nice work by the artist though. I think even Mirimaniacs can appreciate a little Tali now and again.

Sidenote: The first time I typed that it came out "even Mirimaniacs can appreicate a little tail now and again".

Very nice picture, but I will admit that Miranda's ass beats Tali's in-game.  If it's any one thing that Bioware has pushed the envelope on with ME 2, it's the rendering of a fine behind.

Very true. Though on a side note, I'm quite saddened many people think anyone who romances Miri does it because of her body. I just that's really naive...if anyone took the time to read a little of this thread and the one before it, or even just read the opening post, they would see it's not the case.

The overwhelming majority of us like her because of her personality and character, with looks as a very nice bonus. You know...

Oh yeah, I understand.  I've romanced her in my playthroughs too and I thoroughly agree.  With the angriness from the Tali thread, I think people were a bit upset because a lot of newbies had been spamming the thread with random pictures to quickly reach a new page record.  Then when the Miranda picture was posted with the "how could you take Tali over this" comment, I think a lot of people though it was a challenge or a trolling attempt and got angry.  Most of the time people are really civil on the thread.  No hard feelings, I hope.
