Hmmm I just started my seventh play through last night. Should I have Miranda be Shep's LI AGAIN lol. Four of the six previous runs have been Shep/Miri haha
Do you have the same problem I cant avoid walking down the LI road with Miranda?
And the answer is always yes:D

I got the subtle slam on my "boo obsession... but my fanfic!". And I wasn't trying to claim you were pressuring me or anything. Internet subtlety sucks...
Anyway... just for that, you are now going to be random merc number 17. I think slam will work nicey.
I was making fun of myself. Like denying I was obsessed then immediately asking about your fanfic...and even knowing you were writing one.
But that is ok. Valmy will proudly fight to the death for the Blue Suns. Man they really don't pay him enough to take on Shepard and co.

Well the first two runs I did were both femsheps so I couldn't make Miri the LI
And thank you for telling me what I should do! I haven't even ran into Jacob yet on this run. I wasn't feeling well last night and I got really exhausted so I didn't get very far lol. *loads up ME2*

Let me just say doing my femshep run is going to be extra painful. At least I can see what those dialogs are if you do not romance her.

Your 7th? Have you done nothing but playing since ME2 came out? I'm getting near the end of my second....

Yeah me to and I play pretty much every chance I get...
that is to say I am just about to finish my second playthrough.
I am going to run femshep through and then start my MEGA playthrough going straight through ME1 and ME2.
But Awakenings is going to come out soon.

I was actually looking forward to Awakenings... then I find out how much is going to be sidelined and certain contradictions to various epilogues and I just can't seem to care now.
Ah, I still have Miri to obsess over and all those nice mods with Leliana as well

Yes my seventh. It becomes insanely quick when you memorize where everything is. I can do an insanity run pretty fast. I die alot, but I can do it. Its all a matter of how quickly you can get through certain parts. I can do the first set of recruitments in about two hours, maybe less if I really tried hard. My mining goes fast because I have the strategy guide and it has a list of all planets.
Do I have a life? (I know you didn't ask that) Yes I have a life. Except work has kinda been stupid. I'm able to take care of my daughter as well. My life takes priority over any video game

Don't let all the knee jerk reactions take the wind out of your sails. It is going to be an amazing expansion you just wait.

The press has been kind to it. The fans on the Awakening boards have been acting like Bioware kicked their dog...well actually quite literally since they seem to think Dog will not be in the expansion.
But, as I said, I trust Gaider and co's judgement. Their track record on making games is better than mine. I will regretfully eat crow if I am wrong but I don't think I will be.

Yeah the sidelining of that certain ending does suck, but tbh what did you expect? The endings of DA:O are so widely spaced depending on your action at the end that it would be a nightmare to put all of that in the sequel. I think it was Mav that stated since they took a canon stance this meant that Morrigan would be a huge part of DA2, I was expecting this...

Shame that 27 year old WoW fanatic wasn't killed really, kind of expect gunshot wounds to the head to be fatal so I'm a little disappointed this one wasn't.
As for andy vs. Mavi in the battle of the pics, I'm looking forward to the results of your endeavours. Liking what you've done so far Mav. Oh and Ieldra, I'm reading your wall o' text in another tab at the moment!

It's not just that ending though. Most of the romance epilogues will not fit with awakening, especially any "and they travelled together". I suspected those issues though. The sacrifice ending being ignored is utter BS though. It seems as if the Orlesian Warden was created to fit this specific ending... meaning you import that ending and play as the new origin in that world. Instead, that world simply never existed.

. Yea I heard about the Orlesian Warden it does seem that he was created to fit for people who havent beaten the game (but why would play Awakening) and the sacrifice ending.
David Gaider did say that romances will be acknowledged... however if they scrap the whole settting down the line and we never hear from our romances ever again I expect a riot...
