You'd have to consider that one of the main reasons Miri trusts Shep is because he saved Orianna. It was the only thing she cared about for a long time. I would think losing that initial trust could cause everything to fall apart.andysilv87 wrote...

Save Miranda or save Orianna. Now thats a tough one....
Well on the surface it's pretty simple to me: Save Miranda. But you have to think of Miranda's reaction if you were to let her sister die to save her. It's a tough one, but I would save Miri and hopefully charm her into seeing things my way,

In that case, it would be a tragic situation, because no good ending were possible.Shepard would lose Miranda either way.gutty47 wrote...

What if spacers had to choose between their mom or Miranda? Obviously not going to be an option, and there's really no emotional attachment to his mother so it'd be an easy choice, but you gotta admit that you'd feel like crap afterward.
If they were to do that, they would have to introduce her in ME3 and make her a semi-important, or at least likeable character for it to have any affect other than the "Oh snap" factor. An interesting idea all the same.

Hello, party people. How are you doing?
We're doing fine, I suppose.
I, however am extremely tired...and as much as I want to help keep the thread strong, I am about to pass out on my keyboard. Night everyone!

@ Meg: I've been wondering where NV is too, I haven't talked to him for ages. He's a fellow Coheed fan too, I think he'd approve of my sig.

I personally hope that I don't have to fight her, but it would seem strange of TIM not to pull those strings.

TIM's first objective is to stop the Reapers. I doubt he would risk a mission of such importance just because he got screwed. Whatever he is, hes not stupid.Melrache wrote...
Ah yes. I, of course wouldn't sacrifice her in any situation. I am more concerned how will the character turn out in ME3. She has nobody else, except Shepard and the crew, if she resigns in ME2. She has been with Cerberus for so long, that I am pretty sure she'll be bit lost. Specially if TIM starts to use Orianna as leverage.

Now after the Reaper threat? I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to turn Miranda back.

@andy - I can believe that! This may seem heretical but should we consider getting an alternate peacemaker, so we don't develop a tolerance to the Peacemaker?
Tolerance? Is that even possible? Honestly?

I don't know, but I thought I'd raise it as an option, seeing as it has been used quite a bit recently...

I think we should only have one Peacemaker, it single-handedly ended the great nacho war of 2010 remember.
However, it didn't really quell the Great Shaw Jihad did it?
