I'll stick with a classic comedy like M*A*S*H I think. Or The West Wing, or House. Both of the latter are funny without being comedies, that's the best kind of humour I think.
Did you watch Boston Legal? That had a good balance of drama & comedy. Shatner + Spader = funniest bromance ever!
I have to say I find House hilarious just on one small yet significant concept. One of the most English of Englishmen out there playing an American so well that the Executive Producer thought he was American...
Really? Awesome.

Hey Mavi, haven't watched Chuck yet myself, I'll be prepared for 'bad' thoughts I guess, hehe.
Nah it is a good episode. They are not going to wrap up every loose end in one mid season episode but alot did happen...good stuff to IMO.

You mean the talk here? I think the probabiliy that Miranda is setup as a traitor by Bioware (for ME3) is non-zero, if only for the reason that it would be an interesting plot twist. But I don't really think they'll do it.Valmy wrote...

As for other "traitor" talk, I'm unaware of any.
For some reason I got the impression Meg was saying it came from another thread.

Yeah, it was from another thread. We were just discussing the possibilities is all.

I was going to write a long post to this then decided against it... not the right thread. I'll just say that if ME3 has me choose between the quarians and the geth, the quarians are not going to like my answer.Sleepy Buddha wrote...
In a way, Tali already is a traitor to her people. She put her own personal feelings and wishes above the wellbeing of the Migrant Fleet, by forcing Shepard to hide the truth of what her father and Admiral Xen were doing, and not disclosing their grave errors and consequences to everyone.
I know I already said this, but that scene really rubbed me the wrong way, since it goes against everything she pretends and claims to be. I know people like Tali's loyalty misson a lot and I was initially liking it too, but when the final section came up, it completely changed my opinion of it. And then the message I got from Admiral Xen, saying that they would proceed with their experiments made me even more pissed off about the whole situation.
The Taliban never even think a bit about these actions and their possible consequences.

Morning kraidy. Probably a few Yvonne/Miri pics, not necessarily enough to quell the Krogan Blood rage that's built up over Shaw. I've retreated to my private fortress so I don't get caught in the blast!

Well the same could be said for the SR2. We just can''t get a new ship now because EDI IS the Normandy now.

Anyway I am no more interested in getting people who don't like Chuck to like Chuck anymore than I am interested in going to the Tali thread and trying to convince them Miranda is better.
Where did all this talk about Miranda being a traitor come from? So she just allowed Shepard to destroy the base because...it...helped Cerberus somehow? I think it is just the fantasy of people who don't like the character.
I'm not suggesting it because I hate her. Just the opposite. I want angst, drama, and emotion. I wan to feel like my heart's been stomped on. The first Bioware game I ever played was KOTOR. I remembered being distraught when Bastila turned to the Dark Side and overjoyed when I was able to redeem her through love. I want to recapture that rollercoaster of emotions. Miranda's the only character I'm invested in enough to pull it off. And Oriana makes it easy.

No, it's some people's irrational fears, but they didn't think it through logically. Even if it was because of Oriana, as things stand post-ME2, I don't believe she would turn on Shep. She would ask for his help, not betray him.
@jtav: the comparison to Bastila is flawed, since they are (despite appearances) very different.
Miranda, despite her issues, is confident in her abilities and her judgement, and is therefore strong and clear-minded. She would not falter that easily.
Bastila however, despite her impenetrable exterior, is riddled with fear and self-doubt, and therefore much more prone to moments of weakness. That was the reason for her fall.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Bastila, but she's nowhere near as strong psychologically as Miranda.

In what way would her betrayal be interesting? I suppose you could dream up some elaborate Xanatos gambit where TIM set you up to destroy the collector's base and set it up to where Miranda would appear to betray him...but that would be not be very interesting either. It would just be stupid.

As much as I don't want Miranda to turn on Shepard, I do agree with what you're saying. If you could do the old 'redeem through love' thing with Miranda it would have a fantastic emotional pay-off.
