Chuck just realized, thought why nobody told him this is beyond me, that he can no longer have romantic relationships outside of the Spy world.  Sarah is trying to move on and rediscover who she really is.

Good looking? He is good looking to you? Right.. he needs a good stylist. Especially a free trip to barber. Nice, loving and caring sooooo guys arent good at all. I approve being warm and friendly, however, he lacks sth, his face expressions are speaking 'i am totally scatter-brained, not smart also'. Maybe i will think different if get to know him. But for now- dull guy, walking disaster. I cant descrie him, as manly. I would never fall for him. I cant believe that Sarah likes him. Great agent, etc, and paired with such a man...

Well if Zach Levi is ugly I should wear a bag over my head and/or never leave my house again.  If being an interenational spy is boring I should just shoot myself now.

He isnt unattractive but i know many models and actors who would be much better, for as you say, such fantastic character... James Franco...Hayden Christensen... Jackson Rathbone... ohhh Rathbone..

no one explained why to favor him so much, he has no other girl than Sarah, or Sarah doesnt have another guy to go out with? and why everyone wants to kill this... Shaw... ? he is an enemy or what?

They chose Zach because he looks great, sounds great and knows how to act. Yvonne Strahovski was picked later, since she was only one able to make Zach look like a normal guy and act.

It is complicated.  He was handpicked to be a spy when he was in Stanford becauise he was so talented but the other spy who was watching him (long story) tried to save him from that life by getting him kicked out of school ruining his career prospects but keeping him safe...and then said other spy sent Chuck something that forced him into the spy life.  He then goes on to successfully complete a zillion missions.  His uniform is his cover.

Anyway they do Zach's hair specifically to try to make him look ordinary.  Sort of like how they do with beautiful women in Hollywood films.  I can only conclude that ugly women have amazing bodies and faces but ugly hair.

Lots of girls like him in the show btw, Sarah is not his girl she is another agent posing as his GF who falls for him (kind of...they never have actually done anything yet) because he is nice but also really smart and courageous and generally kicks ass.  Sarah did have another guy but he was killed.  Shaw is another spy who actually has great respect for Chuck's professional confidence but is now his rival for Sarah.

So there we have it.
