Shep who stayed clear of any other women because of Ash: He would go on, because there is still one good thing in his life. (Ash is #1, but Miranda is an awesome character too)

i approve of hot pairings, so if the girl is beatiful, they often choose the boy to be such also. its just looks better if they are as perfect as can be, IMO. Miri/Shep pairing is ideal, for that. they always do that in movies- romantic comedies especially that guy and girl are on... similiar level. ah,. you wouldnt understand my crazy thinking.

if you like so much 'normally' looking people, why you dont love other girls from show, and only Yvonne? cant you see hypocrisy here or.... ?

i bet that other actresses you would find unattractive (not comparing to Yvonne) and i would say oposite. this is the point of view based on sex, unfortunately.

Of course looks are important.  They chose Yvonne specifically to make him look plain by comparison...and when they chose Zach in the first place they were afraid he was far too attractive for the part.  I actually said I thought Zach was good looking so I fail to remember where I said anything about looks being unimportant.  Also the actor just oozes charisma.  That makes a huge difference.

Um...tons of guys love the girl next door types.  I also do not go off about how said girls are ugly.  My own beloved certainly looks nothing like Yvonne but I would gladly post extensively in a thread about how much people loved her...but sadly it would be sorta lonely for me in such a thread.  I fail to see how liking one actress means I am rejecting everybody else or find all other women unappealing because that simply is not so.

BTW Anjul I am not upset with you at all, just giviing my opinions.

Ahh, very good. lol.

I was here last night when you all were talking about if Miri betrayed Shep. I know some say it could be a great story element and winning her back through love and whatnot, but personally, I don't want her to be any part of a betrayal! Why? At the end of ME2, all of us here have her as our romance, and that means that Shepard and her are together from the very beginning of ME3.

If there is any sort of betrayal, that would mean we'd probably spend the whole game or half the game trying to get her back! I don't want to do that, I want to continue where we left off in ME2. I want to continue the relationship, I want it to go deeper, into uncharted territory. This won't happen if she betrays us and we have to "get" her back.

Pretty much sums up Jack 'Bauer' Shepherd. If he found out Miri was dead near the end, he'd probably do what Jack Bauer did at the end of season 1 (still one of the best if not the best seasons)

Agreed. It seems like way too often the only way writers (see: Chuck) can create romantic tension is to have people split up or with other people. There's plenty of ways to have problems within the context of the relationship to add drama and tension. Just once, I'd like to see that angle rather than a breakup of some kind.

So Shaw is just another spy. Good one. So why he cant be with Sarah?

Everyone there are spies or.... and what they are doing there, some kind of big important mission? i need to see this.

I never liked 'canon, deflaut' pairings.. like in Smallville i never liked Clark to be with Lana as director wanted... or later with Lois. i dont know why, wrong habit or just coinsidence.



back to the thread, if Miranda was killed then my Shep would avenge her and probably kill half of the galaxy off. then die in fight. he is not an emo to commit suicide.

but Miri isnt gonna be killed so lets move on to next topic xD

The show Chuck wouldn't be Chuck without the current amazing cast. There's no reason to ask why did they make the actor choices they did, since they are perfectly justified by watching the show. Watch it if you wish to know. People bringing up points why somethings are what they are can't make you see the whole picture, therefore it could prove fruitless.

Because Chuck is supposed to be the everyman ordinary guys identify with.

He does not look ordinary at all.  A dude who looked like that would have all the girls after him IRL, it is only in the context of Yvonne Strahovski and super stud movie stars he looks orginary.  Which was entirely the point, they managed to get a guy most women find cute and yet still has guys identifying with him which is really difficult to do.

Now as for why a hot girl like Iwona Strachowska would go out with an ugly nobody?  You will have to ask her because that is precisely what her RL boyfriend is.  I suspect he makes her laugh.

Well it may be possible to kill her off again in ME3...heck maybe part of the plot involves your LI getting killed off...which would be sorta hilarious just to see the fans melt down.

I believe the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" pretty much sums up my thought here, more than just a silly "I suspect he makes her laugh" idea.
