In the interest of getting us back on topic, can I get something off my chest and preach to the choir? The fact that Miranda's sex scene took place in the engine room doesn't imply anything either way about the relationship. Just because Miranda enjoys mildly unconventional sex says nothing about how meaningful that sex is.

I'm still trying to figure out why Miranda and Liara fans don't get along.

We don't get along?  A few Liara fans post in our thread and we like them.

@jtav: I think that's a pretty general statement to make. A lot of Liara fans frequent here. I realize there are those who absolutely loathe Miranda, but that shouldn't reflect on the Liara fans as a whole. Overall, they're pretty open-minded about other characters. At least from what I've seen. Maybe you've had a bad experience?

Sorry. I suspect one or two posters who were very dismissive of Miranda and contemptuius of ME2 in general may be coloring my view of things. Apologies Liara fans.

I always figured that the engine room was the only place that wasn't bugged and Miranda finds the noise soothing a l aTali.

I just fear non-Mirimaniacs might pollute it.

There are people from all fanbases who loath Miranda she is a rather polarizing character.

Think about how hard it was for Liara to find his remains to begin with. Don't toss Liaras efforts out the airlock, yes Miri gets all the credit for reviving him but once again Liara is the catalyst for it. She is most definately not on the same scale as Conrad Verner of importance to the story, IMHO she's right up there with Miri.

Ah, look at Flashy with her Liara fangirlism, hehe. I agree with you though, Liara does deserve a lot of credit for Shepard's recovery. She did good work in Redemption.

for me liara and miranda are the most interesting characters in the game now along with tali this new liara we see in 2 and miranda is a very complex woman I still wonder if her father she talks about is the shadow broker

I'm not trying to throw all the work Liara did to get Shepard's body from the Shadow Broker and give it to Cerberus. Out the window. I am just simply saying while Liara worked hard on that part of it Miranda did the really hard work and 2 years of bringing Shepard back. Liara gets all the credit for getting the body.
