hehe it better not become habit Ield...even a virtual metal ribbed floor is virtually painful lol.

I meant it another way. You know, Miranda is mind-blowing, but we can't have Shepard be dominated all the time, can we?

I don't think it helps that I'm tired as well. Been going to bed a bit late the last few nights considering my ridiculously early starts for work. I might turn in early tonight to try and make up for it.

lmao...why you ask that Ield?

Something wrong with niot being bothered if a strong willed and minded and very attractive woman wanted to be the dominant force of the relationship...especially in the bedroom so to speak...

Wouldnt have a problem with it at all....as for smoking....yes....but nothing illegal or dodgy lol....

No, not that. You seem to be strangely funny - you rarely see so many "rofl"s and "lmao"s in so few posts.

As for the dominant force, it's all a matter of degree. There's something to be said for variety. Regarding Shepard, I don't think he would care for it all the time. But OK, you never know.

Edit:
Just popped into the Kaidan thread. We are tame here. Very tame...

Cheers Mav, I think I will head off now for my own sake and everyone elses.  Wouldn't be fair of me to take out my grumpy tiredness on anyone here.

As a point of note, I've added an "In Memoriam" section to the bottom of the OP.  I thought it fitting that as these threads are closed and a new one opened, the OP of the prior thread be acknowledged.  ComTrav is the first of what I'm sure will be many names on the list of prior OPs.

well thinking about it

it was really just a job the im gave her to do take the control chip she could not do because he said no and she only really trusted/liked shepard after the thing with her sister plus the logs say that doc she shot did most of the work

That's incorrect. First, we can see from the intro that Miranda believes Shepard to be too important to lose and from the conversation, it seems almost like she's trying to convince TIM to use his influence to help Shepard. So it wasn't just a job TIM gave her. She just disagreed with TIM on the control chip issue.

Second, Wilson did not do most of the work. He was the medical tech lead and had a team with him. And if we take the logs into account, he never believed it was possible to revive Shepard until they actually succeeded. So if he was alone or if he had been in charge of the project, he would have failed as he didn't believe it was possible, was more concerned with the money being spent (and not going into his pocket) and was more interested in trying to impress Miranda than doing his job.

Miranda was the project director, she made all the decisions, as we can see when Shepard wakes up prematurely. She also had what no one else had, belief that she would succeed, no matter what. She had a job to do, and nothing was going to stop her. That's why she was chosen by TIM to lead the project and why he didn't do it himself. Because he knew that Miranda, once she had a goal to achieve, was the only one dedicated enough and with enough perseverance to accomplish a seemingly impossible task. It was a case of mind over matter.

Everyone else under Miranda could have been replaced by someone of similar skill, since their jobs were of a technical nature. But no one could replace her, as no one else had the necessary mindset to succeed.

I see this phrase popping up a lot lately. It's wrong. That you believe it doesn't really make it possible, it only enables you to go over the limits set by other's preconceptions. First, it has actually to be possible, then you can discover it.
So, rather than a case of mind over matter, it's a case of an open mind, unwilling to believe anything impossible unless it has been proven impossible (in the strict sense), against a mind clouded by preconceptions of the impossible.

Then don't be sloppy in your expositions :P

Edit: seen your edit. Kept my answer for the archive.

I could start a debate about this, but its bedtime (again) for me. A night with enough sleep would be a nice change...

Do not go back... for the sake of the thread do not go back, if you love Miranda and this thread you will not go back.
