I've always assumed that Lawson is just a cover name given by Cerberus. Keeping her original last name would just cause too many problems.

I like Grunt (although Wrex is better), most of the rest I can take or leave. About the only one I've not cared about dying has been Jack.

@ PA Saw that thread.The question is: is she durable because the devs want most players to have her alive or because she has dialogue throughout the suicide mission. Part of me wants to hope and part of me is reminded that she can die, and it isn't hard to lose her loyalty.

Looking across the forums... I would say Miri is safe.  The only characters that might have equal hate groups are Ashley, Liara, and Jack.  The first two should already be safe and since Jack is an LI I would assume at least a big role in ME3 for romanced paths.

Thats not including the many many ME fans that dont post and just play the game, so add that with the forums i would think Miranda is the safesty character out of the  just ME2 group

That makes sense. Which of course leads to the question of who her father is and what company he runs? Wonder if we'll get to meet him? (And I doubt he's the Shadow Broker)

no that makes 2 of us I dont hate any character not even jack who seems to get a ton of heat while I hate what they did to laira it does make her a more interesting character as I said before I put her miranda and tali as the ones that I like best and are have more about them than other characters
