Pretty sure Ash/Kaidan will be back.  They specifically kept them from the squad of ME2 so they were sure to be alive.

Just it used to be a game company would hire a big time actor, especially back in the infamous FMV era, and advertise as if that actor starred in the game and then that actor would only have a bit part.



Actually Bethesda did that with Patrick Stewart in Oblivion.



In this case Bioware had big time actors who were legitimately stars in a video game.

They kinda did it to Liam Neeson in Fallout 3 also. Granted he was around more than Stewart was in Oblivion, but it was still a little disappointing.

I don't know if any other game has better models and textures

Aww, I hope Ash is back in ME3. Her and Miranda are my favourite characters overall, I'd love to see them interact in ME3.
