It was a real pain to get this right with everyone but Thane and Zaeed loyal (after I screwed up their loyalty quests). Recruited Tali and released Grunt afterwards and now I have 4 squadmates post-suicide mission and after a one night flight with Jack (just before she got whacked during the ship ride), my Shep is now with Miranda

Only slightly annoying thing was that to ensure Mordin died, I had to ensure Miri was left with him on door defence rather than Garrus, so I missed out on her resigning to TIM directly.

No shield upgrade well... the shield is upgraded now that I've recruited Tali AFTER the mission

He served his purpose anyway as I killed the heretics. (Paragon-Shep with a slight Renegade side hehe).

But the main thing is... Miranda is alive
