I can actually tell you...about 5 seconds before I throw my mic across the room and turn the volume all the way down.

i always get asked my age... and then they're all 'oooo' after that.

well, i stopped giving it out after the second time but still got 'Sex-box'd'. It's like they think it's some free sex chat line and you're there for their needs.

i once played gears campaign with this guy i'd met playing horde. we had a lot of fun and chatted about all different stuff as we played, for like 6 hours.

then he wanted to go sleep so i said thanks, etc etc nice stuff and he said he was shocked i wasn't ticked off he was leaving the game.

I said "Wth? you've been playing with me for 6 hours.. what more can i ask?"

so he left and then next night comes along and he's playing something else but sending me messages asking how i am, etc pleasantries.

so then i guess he died in the game he was in because he was messaging me about how i made him lose. i was in the middle of a horde thingy so i didn't answer right away and get another message telling me 'oh i know you want to answer me, you really want me bad. i lost my game because i was thinking about how H***y you are for me'

WHAT gives guys this idea? really?? i never once said anything remotely flirty to him ever and suddenly this?

why is it that guys assume that if you talk to them, you want to have sex with them? oh that's right, guys can't have girl friends.

Wow, that must've been really creepy lol...I have no idea why any sane or rational guy would do that. I sure as hell would not, even if I didn't have a fiancee.

I'll be honest though, if a girl is pretty or attractive...it'd be very difficult for me not to have some sort of feeling there...it...just....I can't resist that feeling. It's like nature's constantly kicking me in the head, "Damn it! Friends!? What are you thinking!!!? You must MATE!"

I'd never act on my feelings of course lol (unless the feeling was mutual ). I'm still nice to a lady though.

I had some female friends who played WoW with me before I got over that addiction, and some of the crap they had to deal with was just unreal. I really feel bad for you girls who have to put up with that. Makes me want to wring some immature jerk's necks.

I get mistaken for a female a lot... or a preteen despite not cussing or flaming like a moron.  And then there is real life... I'm a long haired anarchist in the deep south.... I can't escape the harrasment anywhere I turn.

I will say this though... being mistaken for a female has its advantages... I really frak with guys minds if I'm in the mood.  Usually capping it off by getting them all hot and bothered then turning the head set on.

The funny thing is that a lot of girl gamers are waaay better at the games than the guys are. I've been completely destroyed by a couple PMS girls that I've played Counter Strike with before.

Yea especially when someone on my friends list runs around like so "ZOMG THATS A GIRL WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU", and I'm in a clan.... where I'm the only girl but they don't bother me about it they just ask and move on, but as far as everything else. when you're avatar is a girl and you don't have a "normal" girls voice you MUST be lying and MUST be a man... and no my nephew says his mic makes him sound like a girl but I wouldn't be able to tell as I'm his aunt whose known him for all 15+ years of his life

@Kabraxal: I can't say it's been all bad. There have been a few really bad experiences though and I tend to focus on those, which isn't really fair I guess.

Bad experiences tend to stand out a lot more...I try not to let **** bother me (works well 1/2 the time)

I understand.  I have that issue with forums like gfaqs where I found a good and nice niche, but the one bad troll in other areas still bleeds over it all.
