Interesting concept, especially seeing as she's so cold towards Shepard for the first few weeks after he wakes up properly.  Almost like at first the reality didn't match what she'd imagined he'd be like, and it took her a while to realise that he's actually better than she'd dared imagine and that she wasn't wrong about him.

Brings a tear to the eye...

I remember when I played ME2 for the first time I was like ooo thats Miranda wow she's pretty... then I was like chica why are being so mean to me.

Of course maybe the reason Miranda is a bit cold at the beginning is because she knows she's fallen for Shepard and it scares her a bit. She's all about getting the job done after all and she tries to look at Shepard as a project when really she cares for him on a much more personal level. I could imagine her seeing this as a sign of weakness on her part, thus her cold attitude at the start of the game.

I'll stick to my theory, that it was a shade of disappointment.  She'd fallen in love with what she thought he was and was disappointed at first when he wasn't exactly as she'd imagined.  But obviously she soon fell in love with him all over again

Does anybody remember the old cartoon series Animaniacs?  I've been thinking for a few days that somebody with the right sound editing skills could record a new version of the theme songs titled "Mirimaniacs"...

More fool them I say! Though I'm sticking to my guns on why Miranda was cold towards Shepard once he was awake. I just don't buy the idea that she'd properly fall in love with him considering she had no interaction with him apart from that one episode in two years. It just seems more likely to me that fall in love with the ideal of Shepard rather than just his comatose body.

You need words as well matey, that's why I suggested some skills to alter the pitch of the "singer's" voice.

I just had to set someone straight who claimed Miranda never shows her soft side, not even if you romance her. I'm guessing all he did was look up the engine room scene on YouTube.

Also, do we really want that annoying song as our theme song? I'm pretty sure I would be forced to disassociate myself from you people. I liked it more when it was just the Miranda verson of Hulk Hogan fans.

I agree very much. She might have unconsciously looked for someone she can respect, which probably isn't easy considering her own capabilities, but although Shepard is a legend who might live up to his reputation and earn her respect, a man on your own operating table, legend or not, isn't one you fall in love with.

Take it easy Toshi, I just thought it'd be hilarious to do it. I didn't actually intend it as a full on official Mirimaniac theme song. Though we could use a re-worded version of the Hulkster's wrestling theme song...
