Hmmm ok Ield...

I actually don't think it will make any difference.

I say this becuase throughout the first 2 games, there has been no mention (unless I missed it) about genetical modification etc, cloning, gene therepy etc etc)...so one muct assume its still a forbidden s'science' if you like....

The fact that both Shep and Miri have been 'modified' is slightly irrelevent to me, as Shep was modified by a very rich and distrusted orgnisation, and similar with Miri...

I just see them as being who they are, better than human, but humanity wont change.

Your almost treading on very dodgy ground Ield, were talking about perfect races almost. Hitler wanted a perfect race, the man was a visionary, but he executed his plan all wrong, now look 60+ years later, and we are injecting mothers so babies will be born immune to a hundred and one virus's and disease's.....same end product, different way of getting there....and I for one, do not believe in messing with the laws of nature I'm afraid.

I have no idea what elevator music you are talking about. I only heard this heavenly choir singing always then Yvonne did her lines..

:wizard: shes an angel.

That's the only time I've ever heard an Australian accent being likened to a heavenly choir, and as an Australian I'm allowed to say that.

Mate.

Well Australian accent is certainly heavenly, when it comes out of the right person. :D Just came from dinner in a French restaurant with some elderly British lady sitting behind me. Her accent made me pull my hair out, I don't know why. It somehow gave her this arrogant tone to her speech and so head over the clouds. It was such stereotypical accent. No offense towards Brits intended. This was first time when British accent actually annoyed me. :P

I have to say you remind me very much of a game character named Xan - perhaps some of you remember him. Just post "We're all doomed" and I know games have finally reached the presentation quality of real life.

There's the woman on the Presidium whose pregnant and is considering getting a genetic treatment that could reduce her child's risk for heart disease. Also, there's the guy in the Noveria Mezzanine who you can talk to about gene mods for soldiers (that Asari in the yellow dress gives you the assignment--Mallene Callis or something?).

Depends on if we are talking city-accent or country-accent. Because I don't think the strayan strine is that heavenly. Mate.

Its good to see theres more than one aussie lurking around these parts.

I've been kicked in my daddy bags enough that I can't get all peachy about life... sorry.

So I say "Let us save ourselves the effort and just lie down and die!"

Do we know anything about what Miranda did between running away and joining Cerberus? I think it's plausible that she might have spent time "off the grid" before joining them. She's genetically perfect and the embodiment of what Cerberus stands for, but she was also a sixteen-year-old kid, presumably one without commando training, estranged from a generous donor. I think it's likely (not certain) that she had to survive on her own for a bit and did something in the process of that survival to impress TIM.

Nah she joined Cerberus bright away because she already knew about them.

That's because we can rely on technology instead of physiological or anatomical adaptations to overcome harsh conditions. We aren't entirely unaffected by natural selection, but medical sciences have certainly loosened natural evolution's hold on us. It would take a long, long, long time for ****** sapien to evolve into something new. Our technologies can make us fit in many different environments, and I'm sure humans can survive pretty much any environment in the ME universe.
