again my point is not about religion it's about point of viewReligion really doesnt come into it, heard of a lot of religious people deciding life is not worth living...
Ield, but if your life is precious, then you must believe you have something to live for? Many don't....but agreed, its my life, my body, and I 'should' have free reign over it to do with it as I see fit...
But the government would dismiss that claim heh

Not weirder than getting enjoyment out of analyzing fictional worldsMelrache wrote...
.... You have to get enjoyment into life from somewhere. My way is watching this epic scene from this epic alternative reality. ''Alliance ships move in! Save the Destiny Ascension!'' Not weird right?
There are a lot of really beautiful things to enjoy. I think we often delude ourselves into thinking that because we can't attain some things, life is meaningless. One thing that could probably break me is crushing poverty, but that's about it. Give me an average income and no war, and I'll probably be able to enjoy life no matter what else is thrown at me.

Yvonne read her lines like it was dramatic scene; it seems to be written as a dramatic scene; some sound engineer put the ME1 music as a possible joke. I know who I would blame if the 'joke' failed.
Then again, I'm not paying attention to background music when characters are talking.
Yeah I stated it may not have been her fault the joke didn't work. Her characters usually don't get very much comedy so it was all I had to work with when I was speculating about this being a potential area she might be weak in.

Acquire a serious chronic disease and tell me that again
So there again, you would be messing with nature, and as time has proven, mess with nature, and sooner or later nature will mess back with you in a big way.
btw, what technology were you referring to earlier? Cars, boats? Not really imo....test tube babies, gene thereppy, stem cell research imo is messing with nature.
One 'could' argue that we as humans with our intelligence (lack of) are 'supposed' to do this thing....I do not agree though. See as I am non religious (though I have no real beliefs at all) if nayure says you get this, or nature says this person cannot have children, then nature has spoken, I mean, in all seriousness, I actually know a devout christian who had cells implanted in her so she could concieve..
I said to her, surely its God's will (as she was a believer) that you do not have children...and she could not answer me...nature/God...whatever you have faith in or believe, certain things should not be tampered with.
The problem is, like global warming, no one cares about it, ultimatly, we as humans (well a ceretain powerful few anyway) believe that humanity is too important and wonderful to nbecome extinct....global warming is irrelevent, the continuation of humanity is what matters (very similar to being scared of heights....there is no such thing, its a fear of falling and dieing)...
Personally, I am not stupid enough nor ignorant or niaeve enough to believe that humanity will last forever.

That's the only time I've ever heard an Australian accent being likened to a heavenly choir, and as an Australian I'm allowed to say that.
Mate.
I love Australian accents. But then I am not surrounded by them every day.

But, how else are we supposed to discover the Mass Relays if we don't mess with nature!?

And for the last question, if you are asking about being modified: hell know. I'll take my natural body over genetic enhancement every time.
Severe migraines (I have been knocked out quite often by them), severe muscular issues with my shoulders that result in muscular spasms down my arms, a hip that will slip out without surgergy, insomnia, severe depession.......
..... I think I hit enough chronic issues to be able to say with certainty: HELL NO.
I tried the medicinal route for all of it, not only did it not help... it made it worse. So yeah. I know my answer.

I agree, I don't think shes ever had a proper comedic role. Always cast as the serious character thus we can only speculate. Still, I don't think that elevator scene was ever supposed to have a joke.Valmy wrote...

As scary as that sounds to me I do enjoy a bit of angst here and there...I think that comes from me reading all those Rogue and Gambit fanfics back in the day...

Yes. Quickly work through the gut-wrenching angst so we can get to the passionate reconciliation...or whatever. Not telling you how your story should end...
Ok maybe I am. No pressure.
