Since it is so slow, I'm going to take a break. Anyway, to continue with the fic I need access to the game and dialogue trees. Unless anyone knows where a script can be found.

This is why I'm doing a soldier ME1 run through - so at least one of my male Shepherds is footloose and fancy free before he meets Miranda.

Edit: I seem to be missing all the celebrations. Oh well, at least I have a good excuse!

Hehe. I duplicated and edited one of my ME1 Shepards in order to be free. My current Shepard is the result. I like ME1, but after about 20 playthroughs I just couldn't bring myself to yet another run.

Yes... I switch consoles at one point and didn't feel like doing the autosave trick... pity too. I don't have the extra content since no LIVE on the older one.





Also, Ch 4 might be different than I thought. I'm currently debating whether to shift from Shep to Miri when he goes through the medbay doors and cover most of that level through her eyes or to stay with Shepard.

Switch to Miri and show what she did while Shepard fought through to the shuttle or stick with Shepard?



I had originally planned it out with Shepard, but the current place I'm at in the chapter just screams switch. It surprised me.

As we have already played this part of the game several times as Shepard I´d love to read it from Mirandas perspective.
Also, there are enough fanfics that focus on Shepard already.

It's Gibbed's savegame editor. You do it like this:
(1) Start a new ME2 game from any maleShep ME1 endgame save. Make a new face and give him the desired class.
(2) Save the new game when you can first do so (where you wake up)
(3) Use the editor to edit origin, background and anything else you might want to. Editing origin and background also requires renaming the folder (the two digits in the folder name). For now, leave the ME1 flags as they are.
(4) If you want a new name, you must edit it in *every* savegame in the folder (there usually is one autosave and one chapter save in addition to the regular one) *and* rename the folder. Short alternative: delete the autosave and the chapter save.
(5) Edit any ME1 flags you want to edit. Beware inconsistencies: if you, for instance, leave an Ashley romance flag or progress counter as they were, but flag Ash as killed on VIrmire, the romance flag takes precedence and Ash will live.
(6) Use the "raw" tab to edit the ME2 game end flag to "Livetofightanotherday"
(7) Start an NG+ from the edited savegame. Your edited ME1 flags will now be recognized.

I just met Parasini on Ilium on my way to Miranda's loyalty quest. I liked her in ME1 and that hasn't changed. I thought: here's a woman who could give Miranda some competition - as the existing squadmates could not. What do you think?

Yea, I liked Gianna in ME1 too. Still did when I saw her on Illium. And it didn't hurt that she bought me that beer. But, back to your original point, I agee.

Yes, that she remembers the beer is a nice touch. Little things like this establish a connection between characters.

Not a bad Shepard actually. I was lucky in that my first Shepard in ME1 imported perfectly. Now that maleShep is the only one I can use now!

Agreed. I like the conversation you get to have with her after you help her.
