I fully support this and other threads like it. I would welcome the return of most of the ME2 love interests in ME3 on one condition:

Character designs (visual or personal background) aside, BioWare should let the relationship between the LI and Shepard develop more fully, just as it did in ME1. Consequently, any time invested by the player into developing their Hero/Heroine will feel justified and more meaningful, as opposed to, "Me Shepard. You Miranda. You come swing on my vine."

In ME2, I feel as though they just threw in some mundane dialog and a few sex scenes to please the erotica fans. Tali and Subject Zero are the only exceptions to the latter, but only slightly.

There's still another game for development. Also, I think it's important to note that the development of the romances in this game weren't exclusive to ship dialog. A large part of my interest in Miranda stems from her loyalty mission.

I don't really see how Kaidan/Ashley/Liara are any less mundane than the ME 2 LIs. The fact that I can pick Liara up, do Virmire, and then move on to the endgame and see the romance conclusion when I've only had her around for a few hours kind of goes against you saying the ME 1 relationships are more fully developed (at least Liara's).

I may have misinterpreted what you said, and if that is the case, I apologize.

There are extenuating circumstances. It wasn't such a dumb move when he did it, but you'll have to wait until it's finished and you can read it as a whole before you really understand everything that's going on.

Haha, no worries, Vamp. I guess thatpoint was kind of vague. But yes, we'll post it as a whole when it's finished. We just can't help but tease you all a bit in the meantime. :innocent:

I enjoyed that line, too - though I will say.. between the two of us, Meg is a lot better with those one liners that make you say "OH @#%$"

I'm liking the excerpts, but I think you guys should either start releasing them in chapters (starting at the beginning, of course), or just stop posting excerpts and show it to us in its entirety at the end. I know the excerpts are short, but I'd like to read it all in order.

@Toshi: We're pretty much at a point that we almost can't post anymore excerpts without totally ruining the story. We've been using them kind of as the equivalent of a movie trailer, only written.
