@Valmy Im sure they mix the Chuck/Sarah relationship in every episode ;) Nah but really, I'm sure they won't just leave the relationship out in the open after episode 13, but I think rather up until episode 13 the writers are focusing on resolving the Chuck/Sarah relationship, not just the relationship in general. Just my opinion though, and what makes sense to me :)

Thought they were doing 22 again?

I didn't realise they were making 19. I thought Valmy was being sarcastic. Guess not, lol.

Since ep 13 was originally written as the season finale before NBC decided to get 6 more episodes for the season, I'd be willing to bet that by the end of said episode most of the current issues will be resolved; mainly the issue of Chuck and Sarah, which would more than likely start to turn people off the show if they stretched it any further.

Yeah, tacking on extra episodes is always a bad idea.

This is going to seem like a very strange question, but what variety of English does Miranda use? Her accent is Australian, but does she use Australian English? Her word usage seems American, but I wanted to know if there was anything I missed.

Unless they keep the Chuck/Sarah relationship engaging and tasteful after episode 13 then the viewer base should be satisfied. I just can't see the writers dumping their relationship out of the remaining episodes, it makes no sense. We have to wait and see though guys, no?

You got a source for that? I'd like to read some spoilers on this :D

Ah heck there is a giant thread on the Chuck boards I post on that went over this stuff...hold on let me find you something.

Woah quoting my own post feels odd...

Anyway Barhador I think this article was a big source of speculation: http://www.televisio...ew-of-next.html

And obviously the Sarah-Chuck relationship always is a key feature of the show in the third season it completely dominates like it has not before.  Even the spy missions only exist to set up situations to advance that element.  I think it is a testament to how Zach and Yvonne play their roles that I have gone from being alright with them being apart to really really wanting them to get together already.  Seeing both of them so sad and obviously longing to be together is more than I can take.  Sad Yvonne makes for a sad Valmy.  So good work to the actors and directors and writers for setting up the conclusion of this arch...which I presume will be episode 13 since that was supposed to end the season.

Since NBC then asked for six more episodes they have to do something else, though obviously that central relationship will still have a role to play there will be a new story arch with new stuff to sink our teeth into.  I think of it as a mini season.  Season 3.5 if you will.

I apologize if this was spolerish to anybody....it is simply my speculation based on what I have heard though.  I have no insider info.

Oh and sorry to Darth for discussing this again.  The other posters made me.

Their relationship has always been and will always be right at the heart of the show, completely throwing it out of the window would be like ME3 without Shepard -- makes no sense. It will obviously not just end and be forgotten, what I meant was that by the end of episode 13 they'll have resolved the current angst-ridden rough patch which has made the entire season seem much darker than the earlier ones. After that, it'll still very much be a part of the show, but then they can concentrate more on the crazy spy stuff and comedy.

She uses Australian English.

She was written to be Australian but, you know, the writers were Canadians so it might not have been perfect.

Besides the game was not written for an Aussie audience so it would have been silly to fill it with Oz slang.

@ jtav: Well she uses the word "bloody" which, as I'm sure you know is very English/Australian so she certainly has a little bit of that in her language.

@ Badger: I'm on my iTouch too, hate not being able to edit!

This is what I was getting at.  I never meant to imply that they were going to end the relationship, just resolve this particular stage of it and move on to other things.

What a bunch of nonsense.  Tons of shows have brought characters together and nothing went wrong.

Bad episodes kill shows.  Besides Chuck is about over the top spy plots and nerdiness and general hilarity.  Constantly having emo angst over one relationship will kill the show not make it better.

If they'll do it like you say, then this will be last season. No way I am going to watch the will they/ wont they thing any longer. My insides are already flayed, do they need to be torched as well? ^_^

They can be together while still being interesting. I believe Role Models episode will delve more into that aspect.

Oh man...I want to talk about this episode so very bad....

Patience...patience.

Speaking of Chuck those stupid fans never commented on Yvonne in Mass Effect 2 review: http://chucktv.net/f...hp?topic=1657.0 despite over 100 of them reading it.  Bleh see if I write a piece for those guys again. Image IPB
