Dexter is awesome. I thought season 1 was the best, but that's just my opinion.



Also, has anyone watched the gag reel from season 1 or 2 of Chuck? You'll love Yvonne even more if you do. She dances with corn dogs and acts like a bunny rabbit. Kinda hard to top.



Back to Miranda, I do remember her saying that about the classical piece, Toshi. You aren't delirious. I had forgotten until you brought it up though.

After her loyalty mission, you talk with her about Oriana and she mentions that they have the same taste in music, she then goes on to mention the piece in question as her favorite.

Edit: beaten to it! Oh well, sifting through the old pages while trying to with stay the current ones is harder than you'd think.

Meg, have you found better quality gifs of those moments? Those would be cool to have here on the thread.

@Mavi: You should try to create some kind of illusion to make it seem embossed. I think maybe the outlines of hexagons need to be a darker shade of grey. You can probably tell better than I can, though.

I have put Jacob as their next door neighbor... He keeps trying to hit on Miranda and Shepard keeps kicking him out of the house, God I love the sims. Ashley just keeps sobbing and gets angry at Shepard all the time. I'm just watching them mostly. It's fun playing God.

@Mavi - isn't Miranda's bosom a bit bigger than that? I'm not complaining - you've done a brilliant job so far, was just asking if there were intentions to make it a complete comparison - or a more appealing one.

Anyways, does anybody remember what was the name of Miranda's favorite classical piece? It was like (spelling phonetically here, I don't use subtitles) Adagio's 2nd movement, or something. I'm probably butchering that completely, but it might be a good addition to the front page, assuming it's an actual song.

EDIT: I found it (I think):

Dexter is a fantastic show, right up there with The Wire and Deadwood as my all time favs- just finished the 4th season the other day... Just watch out for spoilers with Dexter- its got some great twists in store  for you.

As for Miranda's favorite song, I coincidentally just went through that conversation on my current playthrough- she says that the song is Nielsen's 5th symphony, the adagio movement, found here:

You know, Miranda's romance has really made me create a "canon" Shep in my head. Throughout ME, I never really had what I considered a definitive Shep, though I played MaleShep only grudgingly. Twenty minutes into ME2 and Miranda ate my brain. I started to think about what kind of character would play best off her. Shepard now has an actual history and a personaloty, and I have plot bunnies for fanfics. Miranda made Shepard and the series come alive for me.

I found a decent Shepard and a Miranda on www.thesims3.com but then twaeked them to what they would do. Then I had to make a Jacob and an Ashley. It took me quite a while to make them, and they are by no means perfect or near done... but I made them within a short time frame and they seem to fit in nicely.

@Meg: I'll keep on the lookout for them and if I find anything, I'll post here.

Going to start an insane playthrough tomorrow, only did 2 and the second took me a week and a half due to lack of free time.

Are you guys able to stretch the relationship development? Is it worth it in your opinion? I tried with the second playthrough but ended up doing the same as in the first, doing her loyalty mission before anyone elses, even before having half the team recruited and then 2 or 3 missions after that had the line about meeting when we had free time. I just can't resist going to talk to her whenever I can.
