I could always bring back the comparing Miri to Bastila topic I said last time. Both have alot in common.
See, I disagree with that.
You could say that Miranda's and Bastila's paths in life have a lot in common.
But as far as their personalities are concerned, IMO they're very different.
Miranda, despite her issues of self-worth, is confident, independent and driven. Though she worries about making mistakes, she's not terrified by them and does what she believes is right, accepting responsability for her actions. She's psychologicaly strong and her distant exterior is mostly due to her professional demeanor.
Bastila, on the other hand, is full of self-doubt and too dependent on the guidance of others. She's riddled with fear of herself, and paralyzed by the thought that she might fail and fall to the dark
side. She acts according not to her conscience but to what she believes the masters would approve She's psychologicaly quite frail and her distant demeanor stems from an attempt to bury her emotions, instead of trying to understand and control them.
At least, that's how I see them. And it actually took Miranda for me to realize how deeply flawed Bastila's personality is in certain aspects.
