Evening all, just popping in to say that I have my art tutor working on a commission piece with Miranda and Shepard as the main focus...he should have it done by next weekend he said, so hopefully it turns out as good as I think it will.

There is only so much one can talk about when it comes to Miranda - it's why I don't frequent here as much as I used to. It's become an OT thread with the most off-the-wall topics. Only time I really post anymore is if there is a discussion or if I'm posting a chapter of the fanfiction.

Even then - come in, post, maybe refresh a couple of times to see how it turns out... most of the time it doesn't continue, so I end up heading elsewhere.

Actually, I initiated a couple this morning. It's hard to keep discussions going when only one or two people are really contributing anything though. I've noticed a lot of meaningful and interesting topics have been completely lost in the waves of nonsense.

I used to do it. Not a lot of the posts are actually worth reading anymore though. There's only so much we can talk about and rehash. I feel bad for Ashley/Liara/Kaidan fans, to be honest.

We need some Miranda DLC.

And that's a bad thing - for a thread supporting Miranda, we've went from actually thoughtful discussion regarding her things to passing time by flirting with one another, talking about licking chocolate of Miri, etc. We had that in small amounts of the first thread and in the beginning of this one, but since then..

What's the point of coming to this thread when everytime I look at it - it's all about smut?

You make a good point, well I believe we are at a crossroads that will decide the future of the thread, either it will get more off-topic but updated more frequently or it will be a serious discussion with alot less updates.

I'm working on one but I don't know if I should make it a novelization or just some vignettes that focus on Miranda and Shepard.

What I don't want to see is anything to do with her father. I'd rather that stay a mystery at least until ME3... and I'd actually be ok with it never being resolved. A confrontation where you kill him or whatever would seem way too cliche.

I couldn't agree more. When there was only a bit of it here and there, I didn't mind it. It's gotten way out of hand now though. That's why I've been going to other threads more often lately, if I visit the forum at all.

I think every squadmate will get an add-on since Bioware has said alot of the add-ons will bridge ME2 to 3. So for Miri I think one that does with dealing with her father once and for all. (remember, if you destory the base she quits Cerberus, putting her sister in danger.

I'd want to see some missions that relate to Miranda backstory between her running away and the Lazarus project.

This might be to much coding for Bioware but I'd like to some missions were Cerberus operatives try to kill you if you said screw you to TiM at the end of ME2. If you kept the base then maybe some missions working with Cerberus.

I remember when a new excerpt would be posted and you guys would love it/critique it, etc... now, when I post a new chapter - I have to quote myself five to six times in order for people to see it.

Thats the thing tho, there is not alot we can discuss anymore. There is so much we can talk about Miri and its tha nks to you, Darth and others for there fan fics that keep Miri intrest here. I will admit I go off topic sometimes, simply because there is nothing to talk about Miri without rehashing it. There is sometimes stuff comes up, like last night with me comparing Bastila to Miri. People actualy talked about it and debated. It only died out like sometime in the morrining.

Hopefully, when the  thread switches "hands" the people will read our posts and be more inclined to stay on-topic. Oooh please dont stop writing lol, your fic is really good and it so depressing when fan-fics arent finished....

The last line sounded selfish, do what you want but what's above is just my opinion.
