Well it could include a patch, there is somethings that need fixing, even on the 360. I understand that the PC version is more buggy tho and it gets a patch first.

If he did not say Miri needs a better man then me then I would not have a problem with his LI but just how Shepard sounds sleezy when flirting with him and that line implies that Shepard is like a second option.. Fiona Lee was disapointed, gotta wait for Kaidan.

I do agree the thread has gotten way OT lately, but it's due in no small part to what you all have already said: There's only so much you can discuss about Miranda until it becomes rehashed. I felt that when the 2.0 thread started that this would be the case. I came into the 1.0 thread later than most, around page 60 or so, and I have been consistently following since and have contributed my fair share of Miri speculation and discussion.

Rath/Meg I read your fanfic all the time, and every time you update us with a chapter I read it multiple times. It is coming along very nicely and I can't say anything bad about it, all good praises go to you two. I would provide my insight on new chapters updated by Rath but I mostly read them at night and soon after I'm done reading I fall asleep and awake to 20+ new pages. I can make up for that by saying now the direction and writing itself is fantastic and I praise you both Rath/Meg. I myself have put my fanfic on hold because I have more important matters to attend to, like school.

All of us are guilty in the end, including myself, of the blatant OT discussion. Unfortunately I fear the thread would be dead without it, unless you want to rehash old Miranda discussion. I do not believe discussion of Yvonne in Chuck is OT however because the Miranda character was played extraordinarily well by Yvonne and it's only fair we analyze her acting ability in other things like Chuck. She is a very good up-and-coming actress.

What is good about this fan thread, and others for that fact, is that we have a place to have an open discussion about anything to a certain extent, which I believe is healthy for our thread as long as the discussions are appropriate. I know that when I come and check here on the Miri thread I can enter into any sort of discussion that interests me and know that I have some very unique and heartfelt friends in a fanbase such as Miri's. A diamond in the rough so to speak.

I will apologize for posts I have written in the past that are blantantly OT or innapropriate.

And if some of you guys/gals add me on Xbox Live I am ready to have party chats about ME2 or Miri specifically. That would be cool

I know what you're talking about.  Some get answered simply and nothing more. Others just go unanswered.

Sadly when I'm on there is usually little activity in comparison to the daytime posts.  So even when I'm in a serious mood and discussin Miri's emotional engagement, it only lasts for a little bit because only two or three posters are on period.

LOL. I still think they had sex and no Meg if you are reading this we are not getting into a debate again >_>. Jacob I find is like the token black guy, sorry not to be rude, but I already have Garrus as my best friend and I found Thane to be alot better then Jacob. Hell I hate Jacob more then Kaidan and he is one of my most least fav characters because he reminds me too much of Carth.

LOL, nah I would only make a Shaw Shepard if I feel like doing a massacer run which I did with a default Shepard, poor Miri (everyone died)

They need to add the mission bits in the sucide mission. You can tell during it that a couple of things where cut out. There was most likely a stealth part if not, then why did we need to get Thane?

Just because you hired someone doesn't mean they absolutely need a part in the final mission. The whole point of hiring the best of everyone is because you have no clue what you're walking into, therefore its best to have every possibility covered.

One of the main reasons alot  of the fan fictions go with the Sole Survivor background is because of how it links into the main story. It gives a firm base for Shep's distrust of Cerberus, etc.

In a sense, it is easier. But at the same time, it could be hard. Let's say you're writing a section about the suicide mission. A War Hero Shepard wouldn't quite understand how to handle the loss of men under his wing in such a way - like a Sole Survivor would.

I can't get behind the sole survivor background simply because at that point in time Shepard's main achievement is not dieing. I just can't see how that makes him a good candidate for spectre status.

The war hero background provides leadership abilities (rallying civilians to defend their homes) as well as loss. The civilians you are leading get killed and you have to defend the hole in the defence single handedly. The death of civilians is never easy to get over.
